I got one yesterday that said a woman sex offender is going to work for the company who cleans my house. Her offense was on an adult. The only thing I can figure is that she was in jail and raped someone or something. I dunno... So, my first instict is to call and tell them that I don't want her in my house. Is that wrong? I mean...no one is here but baxie. He'd probably enjoy the attention. There is no indication that she's attracted to young boys or anything. And maybe if I do that, the rest of the cleaners would get pissed at me and break my stuff. What should I do?

She could've done something relatively innocuous. Don't leave her alone with the kid. Calling her job may get her fired, and it's hard for a felon to find work.

Would she be working unsupervised in your house or does someone else from the company work with her? I wouldn't want a cleaner from a company. Wouldn't you get someone more ambitious if they were an independent cleaner?

I mean....she could get a job not in the public sector. Go work in a factory or something. It's been hard for me to find a company I only complain for an hour about each time they come. Seriously, I've been through about 8 companies and 5 independants. I won't hire an illegal because that is illegal. And if I ever get nominated for the Supreme Court, it could make a difference.

Plus, she is not a teacher or something! I know one is a registered sex offender simply based on heresay alone, so in this case, you might want to give her the benefit of doubt.
