Lonesome Dove is one of the best books I ever read. When you're done you WILL be ordering all of his other books. Most of which have been made into movies,
which you will then be watching.

Lonesome Dove, the book, is amazingly close to the miniseries. I don't know if I've ever seen a book more faithfully adapted. It's really
wonderful.
Pea Eye is a retard, but did you notice (for anyone who's read it) that Pea Eye seemed to become a lot smarter and cooler in Streets of Laredo? |

Emily Giffin - she has a good book about someone who thought she didn't want children and how it affected her relationship. It was funny and well written.
