Yes, they still have to cater to teen boys who aren't out of the closet yet, and girls who hate themselves.

The back of Slammerkin makes it sound even cooler than I could have possibly dreamed. I mean, really, a teenaged girl killing her mistress over some really
cool clothes? Yeah, I'm in. THANKS SO MUCH.
And I also got "the Thornbirds", "the Name of the Rose", "the Sisters: the saga of the Mitford Family", and "Generation Kill" -- a veritable smorgasbord of books that way I wouldn't -- hypothetically speaking -- be tempted to bite the bullet and play LOTR with sloan. |

FINE. See if I EVER try to help you again.
But the Warren Zevon book is REALLY good for anyone who is not an ungrateful slag. |

I almost recommended The Thorn Birds but I didn't know if you were down with priest-screwing. (It's pretty hot. Good choice)
Name of the Rose is good, it's just very very slow. Did you ever see the movie? |

Ugh, I can't watch that, it was Snoopy's favorite miniseries. He wanted to name our theoretical second son Call. He did want the name Augustus at
first, but I told him I'd kill him myself if he tried to push that one through.

Lonesome Dove is one of the best books I ever read. When you're done you WILL be ordering all of his other books. Most of which have been made into movies,
which you will then be watching.

I can't read his books. I do enjoy this movie -- it's one of my alltime favorites. But his books are just TOO fucking descriptive and drag like my ass
on a monday.

Lonesome Dove, the book, is amazingly close to the miniseries. I don't know if I've ever seen a book more faithfully adapted. It's really
wonderful.
Pea Eye is a retard, but did you notice (for anyone who's read it) that Pea Eye seemed to become a lot smarter and cooler in Streets of Laredo? |

Emily Giffin - she has a good book about someone who thought she didn't want children and how it affected her relationship. It was funny and well written.
