Nobody likes to talk about the fact that if Pa wasn't such a fucking douche they could have had a very nice life in Wisconsin.
Instead the asshole packed up the whole family and moved every time they got comfortable. |

the part where Pa butchers the pig and then gives Laura and Mary the pig's bladder to blow up and play with like a balloon. As a kid, I just couldn't believe people would actually do something that disgusting. They did something wierd withe the tail too didn't they?
