An all-American holiday celebration featuring Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever and more, choreographed to an amazing fireworks display.


Harborplace will be alive with music. Street performers take to the Harborplace Amphitheatre stage starting at noon. The main stage for entertainment is the Inner Harbor Amphitheater located at Light and Pratt streets.
Then look for:
3-5:30 p.m. - Smooth Teaze (a cappella)
5:30-8:00 p.m. - Uptown East (jazz)
8:30-9:30 p.m. - U.S. Naval Academy Band (patriotic selections)
The fireworks display, Zambelli Fireworks Internationale, begins at 9:30 p.m. and is simulcast to MIX 106.5 FM.
The holiday fireworks can be viewed from several locations in downtown and beyond including Federal Hill, Fell's Point, Canton and Rash Field.

The US Coast Guard cutter, the Sanibel, arrives in the Inner Harbor on July 5 at 6pm and leaves on July 6 at 12pm. Visiting hours are Sunday, July 6 from 8-10am. The USCGC Sanibel, a 110 foot cutter, will dock at Pier 1 (Constellation dock).

8th Annual Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival
Middle Branch Park
July 4-5, 6-11 p.m.
Hosted by Magic 95.9's Jammer and Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks, the 8th Annual Waterfront Jazz and Arts Festival features local musical favorite Fertile Ground. The waterfront park near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge (aka Hanover Street Bridge) has a great view of the fireworks display without the hassle of Inner Harbor traffic. The festival's enterainment includes jazz, cultural arts performances, comedy and spoken word. Parking is $5.

Pet owners dress their furry friends and compete for different awards including most visionary pet and least likely to succeed as a pet. Pet registration is 9:30 a.m., the event starts at 10 at the American Visionary Art Museum.
