Just to let you know a little background on Micronesia Ami.

A dear and close (like a brother) friend of hers died 5 days before she left. She couldn't even go to the funeral and it affected her deep down in her soul more than she ever knew or thought was possible.

I believe all the sadness just came out at that tribal council.

Playing Survivor really does bring out some deep emotional stuff you didn't even know you had

Thanks for that, KB, that does shed some light. We obviously only know Ami from what we've seen and how she's been edited but my issue with what we've seen stems from how she seems to behave when she perceives herself to be a position of power. The first time she felt safe in Micronesia was when she thought she'd convinced Malakal to boot Eric over her. That was also the time she chose to take to Eric with a machete (figuratively, if not literally).

This behavior seemed to be a continuation of her behavior in Vanuatu when she seemed to behave arrogantly whilst she thought she had power but was reduced to !!*@+ as soon as that power base was eroded.

I'm sure Ami's a good person but that seems to me an element of her make-up that she needs to work on.
