For some reason, I don't like the Harry Potter movies past Chamber of Secrets. I don't know if that's when they got the new director or what, or
maybe it's because the books started getting longer at that point so they had to cut more out or something, but I just think the other movies don't
compare with the first two.

As far as teachers, yes McGonnagal deserves to make the best characters list.
And I agree that Hagrid better not make it. Hagrid = boring. I wanted to kill myself during the Grawp chapters. Grawp was the single worst storyline in the books. |

The time-turner storyline in POA is one of the most creative storylines in the whole series though. I love how they saved themselves from trouble many times
while not even knowing they did until a little later in the book. It was mind-bending the first time I read it.

Yes. And the movie ruined it.
The time turner is one of the most complex storylines, especially if you dont understand it. I dont think the movie adequately explained it out. PoA is an amazing story. The movie just cut too many corners I think. Though, cinematically, I thought it was beautiful. I loved the dark tone it had the whole movie. The director was great, in my opinion. |
