But I wouldn't be surprised if she did.
Between talking to her, and listening to Obama lecturing us on patriotism, I might OD on morphine patches.

Can someone who doesn't drive me crazy please explain to me about this 'natural immunity' the stupid cunt is referring to? Cause I hope it's
not that she thinks having had chicken pox is giving her natural immunity to shingles.
But I wouldn't be surprised if she did. Between talking to her, and listening to Obama lecturing us on patriotism, I might OD on morphine patches. |

it's the opposite TRho. If you had chicken pox, you have a chance of getting shingles.
My dad used to get them whenever he was studying for a Fire Dept promotion civil service exam. Right on his forehead, dangerously close to his eyes. |

No one can be THAT stupid. She's obviously at the point where she thinks posting moronic things is better than being ignored. Ignore her.

Anyone who's had chickenpox has the potential of developing shingles. However, it's most common in older adults: More than half the shingles cases
occur in adults over 60.
In addition, people with weakened immune systems from HIV/AIDS, those who are receiving medical treatments, such as steroids, radiation and chemotherapy, or those who have a history of bone or lymphatic cancer are more likely to develop shingles. Most people develop shingles only once, but recurrences in other areas are possible. A person with shingles can pass the varicella-zoster virus to anyone who hasn't had chickenpox before. This usually occurs through direct contact with the open sores of the shingles rash. Once infected, the person will develop chickenpox, however, not shingles. The infection can be serious for certain groups of people with immune system deficiencies. The varicella-zoster virus cannot be spread to another person with a normal immune system who has already had chickenpox. |

Oh, and thank you to the legless horse person for reposting everything I've already said in this thread.
Does anyone read a thread any more before they post in it? :: Glares at Anne and Weird horse person and slaps on more morphine :: |

Hey, did you know that if you had chicken pox, you have a greater chance of getting shingles?

My husband had shingles in college and I remember how much pain he was in. Sorry you've got to suffer, TRho.

I can only cope with one massive stupidity at a time. I had to get up and turn off Obama. I hope you are all satisfied.

I hope you're feeling ok and I hope you get better <333333 |

you know what's really weird though? Shingles are related to chicken pox. If you've never had chicken pox, you can't get shingles. Isn't that
weird?

I got the shingles vaccine. The doctor concludes that my case is milder than it would have been.
I am not consoled. |

I heard you can get shingles without first having chicken pox
