I've been one for closing on 30 years. I became one because the premise of eating animals was just plain disgusting to me once I'd put some thought into it. I learned much more about how the animals are mistreated after becoming one. I think that many people avoid educating themselves about the situation because they suspect that what they'd learn would sicken them and they'd no longer want to eat meat.

I'd tried to become one a couple of times without success before I succeeded. After the end of the 3rd week on the final try, though, I didn't miss any of it at all. Cali, after you've been one for a while you might similarly get to the point where you don't think about them at all.

I'm not on a crusade here, guys. It's just not easy making the transition, after being an omnivore all my life.

But this is what disturbs me. These helpless animals suffer too.
