So I'm sending the usual: baby wipes, eye drops, books, and tons of snacks -- what else is a good idea to send, however? The person in question is a PFC
(army) in his mid-twenties with a great sense of humor (strange combination of squashthesalad, KF, with a little bit of yubbin's insanity).
I'm seriously debating whether or not to send an inflatable black man. Thoughts? |

When my nephew was in Iraq, we'd send him a six pack of vitamin water. Except one of the bottles was emptied and filled to the brim with Grey Goose.

He has oodles of sunblock, but the stationary can be a fun twist. Maybe get some Hello Kitty for him and his comrades.
Always give him phone cards and I gave him Gatorade packets last time... this time I'm going with Stoli, he'll probably appreciate that more. Deck of cards is a good idea, though. Hopefully I can find a deck of cards that happens to be terribly inappropriate. |
