So I just got this via Netflix and hated it. Hated it because it could have been so much better. The subjects are so self-evidently crazy that you don't
need Penn Jillette expectorating and yelling for a half hour. Why get so angry with idiots who are good for a laugh?

Just to make it entertaining, but you're right, a lot of these people are crazy. I read an article by that Gail lady who was on the pornography episode,
and instead of defending her position, she merely reiterated the bullshit she said on the show

We just got through the first season. Some of the segments were just okay, but there were some that we thought were really good. Some of these people are
just nutty...and brainwashed in the crap that they believe or just straight up running a scam.

Hi, token lunatic checking in. [lucky you] I had a mad crush on Penn years ago. I'm talking years ago. Back when he was, well younger.
I've nothing else to add, carry on. |

In their last episode about peace, once again they spotlight the kooks on the far end of the spectrum. Plus, they did a very poor job of proving their point
that economic relations with foreign countries is the way to avoid wars when the cause of 9/11 was exactly that.

I agree, besides, the subject is serious and requires more then a half hour to explain it. If they had a few hours, maybe they would of been more accurate.

It was a great episode, it showed that the code pink squad are complete nutters.
And, that if you want peace, you need economic freedom. Mankind likes to own things and sell things and make money, and when he has the chance to better himself, he is not so inclined to attack his trading partner. Bravo to P&T! |

The nostalgia episode is freaking hilarious!
Old episodes of "Bogus" and "Ballycock!" and "Bug Off!" Funny stuff |

I loved the nostalgia episode! They could of done more with it, but having Eddie Haskell on it dumbstruck at the obsessed Leave It To Beaver fans made me
laugh.

have to disagree about the good old days season ender thought it was very weak and for the most part devoid of humor also labeling the good old days as being
better than today is not something that takes any brain power to realize anyone with even a passing grasp on history would already know this

They were flaunting their ignorance so much, I actually felt embarrassed for them. Their reading of the 2nd amendment was simply the worst. The British army was not a "militia." And Penn is proud that he didn't go to college? |

Really like this show! You can't really take everything a face value with this show, but hey, it's just an argument for argument's sake. PETA was
one of my favorites, as well as reparations and dolphins, just because that one was so loony. Giving birth in open water where sharks can come and eat
y'all? Not the greatest idea in the world...
I'm curious as to what they'll tackle next season. What sort of issue or anything do y'all think they'll debate? |

I watched this show a long time ago during its first few seasons - I can't believe it's still on! I thought they were stretching for topics by season 3
- I'd be scared to see what they're doing now!
It was entertaining, but most of the targets seemed easy hits, and on some rare occasions I disagreed with him. One that comes to mind was where he criticized people being concerned about secondhand smoke. |

The best episode was the one where they had a "civic official" give people 10 different colored humongous recycling bins, and they had one for used
toilet paper and equally retarded things.
Bringing up the fact that all the garbage in the U.S. in 1000 years would fit in something like a 30x30 or 35x35 mile pit (which is a small dot on the U.S. map) proved the lie of environmentalist propaganda about us running out of space to put garbage. The shows tend to be either hit or miss, the ones on religion and new agers always entertain. I'd say 11 of every 13 episodes are great, two suck ass. Skeptic, Libertarian, Agnostics are just better people. |

So far my favorite was "dihydrogen monoxide"

Them passing out the petition to ban dihydrogen monoxide was hilarious! I think they used that some woman in the "Organic Food" episode.
