I made the mistake of being on the phone with my mom during the season three premier of Lost. I was trying to get off the phone with her as quickly as a could
during a commercial break. It ended up being one of the Jack and Juliet scuffles and suddenly she is asking all these questions, wondering what is going on,
and if I'm alright...
My roommate that year tried to watch and episode with me, Every Man For Himself, and he was asking questions during the entire thing, "Why doesn't that guy just run away? Two islands? This show is so dumb I thought they crashed on a plane, why do they have prisons and guns?" |

Oh I hate people like that One friend who had never watched the show (only seen some bits) wondered how come there are cars, apartments etc if they're on
an island. I calmly* explained that the show use flashbacks as its structure.
and by 'calmly' I mean I yelled at him for being an ignorant moron who need to be schooled. He was. He's now hooked :) |

And I'm the only one in the house allowed to speak unless a commercial is on. I need therapy.This sounds familiar... My mom used to watch, but then she skipped the entire fourth season. now, she will be in the room while I'm watching, but mostly reading unless her boyfriend Sawyer comes on the screen. When asked why she no longer really watches, she replied, "it's just too weird now." this from the lady who watched Dead Zone, The 4400, and every other Sci Fi show in the history of tv since 1960. whatever. I hate sci fi, yet love this show even with the sci fi elements. :D |
