I didn't get the internet for home use until 1999, and then all I pretty much did was hang out at the Yahoo Poker room lounge. Playing poker and pwning n00bs, way back then.

Back when the internet was all shiny and new where did you hang out all the time?

talking to tim from marblehead, mass. Some other places like that too but I forget their names. This is long before AOL was sending out their CD's. Then came IRC and some different rooms there. This is so early 90's. |

Prodigy chat rooms - 1994 when we got our first computer. I think the big draw of getting one was so that we could play Myst.

Whatever that great Buffy board was that had its posts in descending order so you'd have to dig back seven pages anytime Whedon showed up.
Anybody know it it's still around? |

I had my home all hooked up since around 1994. I remember chatting on Powwow when I was like 7. There was this one BSB chatroom my sister and I would frequent
where we would think it was hilarious to type random sayings over and over in all caps.
