I've been meaning to ask early in the season, but when did college punters begin doing the rugby grub kick?

Like last season is when it started to get popular I think. The NCAA is considering making that illegal for next season.

(Posted on 1/8 at 11:23 a.m.) Usually the best t.v. coverage is the one you don't notice. I spent a lot of the game yelling at my t.v. when Fox wouldn't show a replay or when they would show half of a replay and then cut it off. Some of the angles of the field were terrible; especially during live action- they would show what at times would seem to be the worst angle to appreciate the action. And the play by play commentators- Brennaman and Davis, Jeez these guys stink! Wonderful, can't wait for Fox's coverage of the Super Bowl

There were maybe 4 replays shown all game. And 1000000 shots of some fat arse in OSU's band banging his bass.

At least the band had enough presence to include it during halftime -- my kids and wife just rolled their eyes when they finally played it, and I yelled "THAT'S what I'm talking about." but ANYTHING is better than Mushburger.

And don't get me started on all that Jumper crap popping up on the screen every two seconds. A movie I thought was going to be cool now annoys me so much that I am boycotting it.

(Posted on 1/8 at 11:31 a.m. to classictiger) the lack of replays sucked, but I enjoyed the announcers. Also, believe it or not, I enjoyed Howie and Terry last year for the Sugar Bowl. They're not perfect, but they're fresh in comparison to the ABC and CBS crews. Unlike ESPNs announcers, Fox guys seem to actually not be pulling for one team over the other.

seriously, one of them actually said the letters "OPI" in reference to offensive pass interference, which I have never heard in all my years of watching football. They also make no fucking sense AT ALL. I want to drive to Arizona and personally punch them both in the testicles.
