You 'Bama gals best hope that Saban's gonna be able to figure out some way to defense Florida - how in HELL did they lose to Ole Miss? If he can successfully do so, it'll be one hell of a coaching job. You need to get past Auburn first, though (let alone the Bulldogs, tonight)... and if you think "we've got that one in the bag", you should remind yourself that the records going into that game just about mean absolutely nothing. Stanford up 7-0 on USC 4 minutes into the game. Let's see
if that holds!

My two cents to why the Gators lost to Ole Miss is that the Gators assumed it would be an easy game, that they did not have to do much at all and they would
still win. Urban Meyer has made them practice on Sundays if they have not played well or after that horrendous loss to Ole Miss- maybe these guys figure if
they want Sundays off they better kick some ass and play the way that they should be playing. I am just thrilled that they are kicking ass, after their loss I
was worried about the rest of the season and I am glad I worried for nothing. I just hope they keep playing this way...... plus I think Urban lit a fire under
their ass to play well.....

Jessica, S-bug... guessing that at least one of you watched that game, could you tell me if it was a case of Troy "playing to not lose" which caused
them to lose? I'm guessing that it was at least partially so, but being unable to watch it myself, I'm just conjecturing on that.
If so, it's yet another case of a coach stupidly getting away from the game plan that got them a lead in the first place. They won't ever, ever learn. |
