If I remember correctly, in Season 1 because players weren't familiar with the game, at least in the first several episodes, they genuinely wanted to succeed at challenges and really did get angry at players that were responsible for losing money. Later on, some of them realised that it is good strategy to actually draw suspicion to yourself so as to decrease the chances of their competitors successfully identifying the mole. On this season, it seems that almost everyone is going out of their way to make obvious mistakes, and when they lose money they don't seem to care nearly as much. I know that I don't feel empathy for losers anymore, because everyone is subtly trying to lose!
So, on the one hand, the show is still great to watch and we get the opportunity to witness diverse and novel strategies, but on the other hand there's just something annoying about people taking the challenges less than seriously, and obvious non-moles making such obvious attempts to sabotage challenges.
So, if there's any chance that they'll get to a season 6, I would propose that casting be done in a way that the contestants don't know what game they're applying for (this has precedence, was Treasure Hunters like that? or maybe it was Mole 1?), and production tries to choose players that have very limited knowledge of The Mole in general. I just think it would be wonderful to watch a groups of players slowly realise the nature of the game and what you need to do to win. Not to mention that the Mole (who would, of course, understand the game fully) would need to be more subtle and clever in their sabotage, and the reveal at the end would be that much better.
