Hate to say it, but Juno wasn't very good IMO. I think they tried way too hard to make it witty and just ended up making it annoying. I was
expecting to really like it too.

ITA about Pixar movies. I'm sure they're fine children's movies, but I don't understand people over the age of 10 who actually find them
entertaining.
I might occasionally re-watch a movie that I loved as a little kid for the nostalgia factor, but I don't even enjoy them the same way, and as for any kids' movies that have come out since I outgrew kids' movies? Just forget it. |

Even Dogma??? I love that movie. I do agree, however, that Kevin Smith is horribly overrated. |

Pirates of the Caribbean 3 - I loved the first 2. This one had way to much of the wooden, lollipop headed Kiera Knightley to even be remotely enjoyable. But...but...they made her the pirate king!! How could you not love that piece of brilliant storytelling? |

I was duped by the Netflix review of "War" with Jason Stathom and Jet Li. Two of my favorite action movie stars and yet it still sucked ass. WTF
happened to Jet Li? Netflix gave this steaming turd a 4 star rating.

I guess, based on his box office numbers, that large numbers of people like Michael Bay's movies. I think he's the worst director in Hollywood who
still gets big budgets and an audience. His movies are so wretched that I have lost all respect I used to have for Steven Spielberg simply because he's
worked with Michael Bay. I have stated before that I don't like Shawshank Redemption or Star Wars, but I can at least understand why some people would like
them. But I cannot put into words without sounding like I'm trying to be funny just how bad I think Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and Transformers are.
Here's a funny story I found while surfing: Jonah Hill Proves He Can Read A Script Jonah Hill decided not to star in Transformers 2: Revenge Of The Fallen because he did not like the script. |

When watching Michael Bay movies, a fun game is to count how many seconds between cuts. Always fun.

I liked Transformers a lot but The Island - a Michael Bay movie w/ Scarlett Johansen and hmm...I want to say Jude Law?
Disaster. The 1st half was really interesting and good but then the action began and it became unrealistic, over the top, classic Blockbuster crap and it was done so poorly. |
