The Borat schtick was over for me by the time I saw the movie, so I'd have to agree.
Worst Kidman movie? Fucking Dogville. What a long-ass Dogma 95 piece of shit. |

Love Actually...ugh
I had to sit through that piece of crap in the theatre. Had no desire to see it...was dragged to it. I hate most chick flicks to begin with. Another one that comes to mind is The Family Stone. I don't think it was highly praised. I'm just still pissed that I had to sit through it while others around me just loved it. |

Wait wait wait --- Crash is considered a movie that everyone loved???? I mean, I know it won best pic, but that was like a hilarious joke. I honestly
don't know a single person in rl who doesn't despise it to the core. The only part that was even remotely good was when the racist stairs taught
Bullock a lesson. And when Thandie Newton got molested and taught everyone a lesson. And when they ran over the chinaman and didn't care. And when the
magic cloak saved us all and taught us a lesson. Actually, the whole movie was good. Unintentional hilarity <3.

When I was a kid, I would get so excited when "Mary Poppins" would come on every Thanksgiving. I watched it again for the first time in many years a
few months ago and couldn't wait for it to be over. "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Forrest Gump" are two that especially make me
cringe.

Titanic. UGH UGH UGH
Also "The Untouchables". I made a note of who the director was of that so I could avoid all their future pictures. It was Brian de Palma. I refuse to see anything he's done. I also have to chime in on the "Forrest Gump" and "Cast Away". There was something about both those films that were truly funny, but also something I just couldn't quite love with the love everyone else was loving it with. I dunno. I'm always kind of mixed on Tom Hanks. There's been several "classics" that I saw when I was younger and could not fathom why they were considered some of the "greats of all time" because I found them really REALLY boring. Like "Citizen Kane", "Gone With the Wind", and "Vertigo". I really ought to try to see them again. Now that I'm older, I wonder if I'd appreciate them more. I really find that if any movie of any kind is overhyped, I find that they never live up. Likewise, I've found myself actually liking some movies that were supposed to be "meh". I think it's that my expectations are so low with those that it can't go anywhere but up. |

I liked Inside Man. and Do The Right Thing. Most of the rest of Spike's stuff has been eh for me, though.
I HATED Chicago. LOATHED it. Still do. |

Sleepless in Seattle. I have never been able to sit through more than five minutes of it. It's just so boring.

Dancer in the Dark. I know it's not one that everyone has seen, but it seems like everyone who has seen it liked or loved it. I remember sitting in the
theater and wanting to scream "JUST DIE ALREADY SO THIS PIECE OF SHIT CAN BE OVER!"

I hated "Do the Right Thing", Jit. Lee's
character Mookie was a worthless, perpetually bitching and moaning slacker who ripped-off his boss (the scene where he called in a fake pizza order so that he
could go screw a chick), initiated the riot (by throwing the trash can through the pizzaria's window) which caused his employer's business to burn to
the ground... and then had the fucking balls to demand a week's pay?!?? I'd have beaten the ever-lovin' shit out of that little mofo.
Lee puts characters like that, drunken old worthless winos, etc., into his films, and expects to generate some sort of empathy for black Americans through his movies? If I were a black person, I'd be livid about how he so frequently chooses to portray my race. |

And speaking of falling asleep during a movie, I have never gotten to the Gladiator part of Gladiator. I always fall asleep when the two people are in the carriage or the part where Joaquin attacks the bust of his dad. |
