She smacked me in the face with that towel last week beep.
I'm still trying to track her down and get my revenge. That bitch can RUN. |

I've seen baby squirrels before. Not quite as baby-ish as some of the ones posted in the pics in this thread, but I've seen them out and about.
I also saw a baby bunny not too long ago, too! :D |

In the city, nobody ever sees baby pigeons either, except when they decide to nest on my air conditioner and you have to gently take a broom and push them down the ledge without knocking the whole nest over the edge. |

How come you never see dead bats? You see dead birds all the time, but never bats. Is there some secret bat grave yard they go to when they know they are
going to die?

Because dead bats looks like wallets that fell out of people's pockets, and homeless people go pick them up |

What is david sedaris' new book called? how new is it?
We've always wondered why you don't see more dead birds around. You see tons of live ones but where do they go to die. Even in the woods there are not big plots of dead bird carcasses. |

Apologies, Lauren.
I thought it was obvious that I'm a "glass half empty" person. I'm sure its a toy squirrel. Yeah, that's the ticket. |

What is david sedaris' new book called? how new is it? "When You Are Engulfed in Flames". It came out maybe two weeks ago. We used to see lots of dead birds on one side of our house. Finally figured out that the neighbor's cat had set up a trench there and, despite wearing a
bell, took out more creatures than a good case of bird flu. The cat has since disappeared and there are no more dead birds on that side of the house...they
are oddly now all on the other side of the house.

I love squirrels as long as they stay out of my attic.

A while back when I was laid up, I gave a baby squirrel refuge, cause my neighbor was going to bludgeon it with a shovel. He stayed a while then was released up on Afton. If you're accustomed to cats, they're kind of scary. |

Gup. I picked that up in the bookstore the other day. I couldn't buy it right then, but I read a couple of pages.
The worm. In the leg. Of the mom. Yeeecchhh. I can't wait to read the whole thing. |
