I wrote a paper my junior year about the history of tornados in the area. It's just where it's located within the Miami Valley that makes it like a magnet for tornados. The Native Americans called the area "Devil Winds."

I am afraid to ask who your parent's are, my Mom knows everyone. Don't forget about the Udders n' Putters minature golf at Young's, ahh the family fun.

I was only 2 when the big one hit, but was there for the small one in 89 (I think that's when it was) but had moved away by the time the one in 2000 came. I found it ironic that the 2000 tornado mostly destroyed a few churches and Wal-Mart. I think God is telling us something.

I was in kindergarden when the big one hit, but remember it pretty vividly. I did find it funny that the one in 2000 took out the bible thumping churches, part of crack house row and the Walmart. Too bad it didn't take out more, it's the only way the town gets spiffed up from time to time.

I also remember some HUGE Octoberfests. I also remember Ernest being on some weather station billboards back in the day. My first Ex was on one with him.
