If you're by Cleveland can't you watch Drew Carey reruns and get some ideas?

I really liked "Eat the Rich"- he explains our economic system in terms of John Grisham novels and Courtney Love CD's.

Back when I was gaurding the rice fields of Hon Deng, I knew a guy from Ohio.
Charlie boobytrapped a worm hole and the guy lost his legs to bamboo spikes set to make hamburger out of any idiot who tripped the wire. I can still hear his screams. |

Parliament of Whores is the most quotable... and it's contemporary still -- his examples are specific but his points are broad and relevant. I actually
agree with Sloan though, "eat the rich" is also my favorite. "Give War a Chance" is great, too.

"Eat the Rich" definitely. I also liked "The CEO of the Sofa" quite a bit.

You poor thing, sounds like you are somewhere between Mansfield & Akron?
Sorry to say there isn't much in that area to do, it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Eury is right about Columbus though, there are tons of things to do there. And don't put your child in a Michigan outfit, it will likely be fed to the wolves. |

Oh yea, thats a bit away from the good areas. Spent a year in Westerville back when it was a dry town. Way too many dry towns in that area. Columbus was a lot
of fun. I suggest the Pub Crawl on High Street on a warm fall night with the students.
We will be going right through there in October. |

Good God! I live in the same city as Eury? /weeps
Columbus isn't terrible. It's flat and not nearly as interesting as Cincinnati, but it has it moments. |

I always thought Eury lived further north. She seems like the bitchy Cleveland type.

You pack the baby in the car for a visit with Auntie Tres and Auntie Foo.
Or you meet me in Athens at the dog park. Or you meet me for lunch in Columbus when I'm up there doing work. I'm near the bottom of WV and you are near the top of OH, we can find a way to make it work. |

I thought you clinged to your guns and your religion. I am happy you also have that cement corn to look forward to.

Some people in Ohio are having severe issues with their mother's ancient computer and have been sticking to the same two websites. They'll try again to
check their email.
My friend Meg lives near Columbus, so I'll be traveling that way soon enough. |
