You could probably buy takeout for the price of trader joes frozen food.
I was at a local specialty grocery store here and they had these delicious looking kebobs all ready for the grill. They were 10.99 a pound. For 10.99 I can pay someone else to cook them for me. |

I like the frozen pasta and stuffed salmon. They're good for when I'm eating by myself.

I donno what a Trade Joes is either. Regional store/brand? I've heard of it talked about in OT before, but the TJ people must hate Florida or something.
Never seen one.

Never seen them in Houston - oh, looks like they may not be anywhere but on the coasts and a few NE central states - none in Texas, OklAhoma, Montana, North or
South Dakota, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi, or Alabama

We do have this place called Main Source where you can buy stuff wholesale and crap, I've only gotten a few things from there though. |

OMGGGG I just had TJ's frozen marinated chicken breasts (I stoved 'em, not microwaved)...... AMAZING! Like ...omg... I will probably stock it in my
freezer from now on. I eat a LOT of chicken, btw, so I know what I'm talking about. :armfold

Is TJ as expensive as WF's? If it is, forget about it.

Yep -- TJ'S = cheap AND good (including organic junk)
Whole Foods = Good but way overpriced/overrated. |

TJs is cheaper high quality food. So it may be more expensive that Publix for somethings but you are getting a better quality for less than you would pay at
say Whole Foods.
The frozen scallops are great. You can keep them in the freezer, throw a few at a time on the george foreman and toss them on top of a salad. yum. And never leave the store without at least three jars of the sundried tomato (and olive?) bruschetta. It's like crack. You can't stop eating it. |
