I remember her singing Raindrops Will fall on AI midway through the third season finals, so she got assistance from the show. If I have forgotten or never knew some of the circumstances about why she was initially dropped, I'm sorry. But she ought to be glad she never got to sing Baby Mama. It is a truly awful (albeit memorable) song.

IMO Tamyra have been given more opportunities then any other finalist and in some cases more than some winners even to make a success out of her singing career. She is the most overrated contestant ever on AI if you ask me.

She is the most overrated contestant ever on AI if you ask me. I forgot about that! Diana fans (yes, she has them) were pissed because her numbers were cut to accomadate Tamyra. I don't think the audience responded too well to her and she left to headline "Bombay Dreams" on Broadway - which closed early after she joined.
