Sabra Johnson


I am expecting quite a few wuzrobbed complaints here Sabra was truly amazing (especially considering her 4 years only of dance) and she maintained a high level of performance throughout the season. She was probably one of my top 3 favs coming into the second half of the season. Nonetheless, for some reason I was kind of underwhelmed with the Sabra of the second half I don't really know why, because all she got from the judges were glowing reviews, but the spark that had endeared her to me early on seemed to be gone. Basically, my Sabra love died down a little bit while my love for the other dancers grew, so she only lands the 6th spot.
My favorite Sabra routines: pretty much everything she did with Dominic (whom I did not like, incidentally).

Jaimie Goodwin


Jaimie was absolutely adorable <33333333. I think she was kind of the sweetheart of the competition, and even her awesome high-pitched voice contributed to that impression. She was definitely the most graceful of all the female dancers, and she just had such gorgeous long lines <333333 Her dancing was gentle, yet she pulled off the first week hip hop so convincingly. Rewatching her solos, I think that her solos were as AMAZING as Shauna's and that's saying something. Jaimie and Hok formed a great couple, and she was just unlucky enough to get a messed up paso doble wannabe waltz routine in week 6, along with a cheesy and over the top partner Dominic. She was absolutely stunning in the hummingbird routine (and Hok was great too, of course) and she just barely misses out on my top 4 Love love Jaimie and think that she is very underrated.

Danny Tidwell



If I was making this list last year, right after the season had ended, there is no doubt Danny would have been number 1. Danya were by far my favorite couple right after week 2, and after Anya's elimination Danny was by far my biggest favorite left. After the 3 consecutive bottom finishes with Anya in weeks, 3, 4, 5, I was really worried about Danny in the top 10 stage, but luckily America finally realized how awesome he was and he was never in danger again. <333333333 Into the final 4, I was definitely rooting for him over Sabra, so seeing him as runner-up was rather disappointing, especially because his win would have kind of created a nice redemption storyline arc (what with all the Danny is arrogant BS, courtesy in large part of Adam Shankman. Thank you Adam kthnxbye.) Thankfully, he lost to Sabra, and not Neil (bleh) or Lacey (ewwwww), so I was still quite happy with the winner. Danny was especially AMAZING!!!!!! with anything contemporary or ballroom/latin, and his 2 Viennese Waltzes (with Anya and then Lacey), the jive with Anya and the samba with Lacey are definitely among my top 10 dances of the season. Danny <33333333333333 Rewatching the season, my love for some dancers who didn't stay as long as Danny grew while my love for him remained constant, so he "only" gets the 4th spot.
