Lacey Schwimmer



Love her or hate her, you can't really be indifferent to Lacey Schwimmer. She was an extremely competent and versatile dancer, who handled pretty much all genres well, and literally carried Kameron to the top 10. (Her contemporary with Neil, her Viennese waltz with Danny, her hip hop with Pasha) are all among my favorite dances of the season. I am actually surprised she didn't win the whole thing with her considerable fanbase, but who knows.

However, there are quite a few reasons why I dislike her (and the Schwimmer connection has nothing to do with it, given that I only watched half of the Season 2, and never disliked Benji, well, too much). Lacey's personality, exuberant in the eyes of some, was downright over-the-top and excessive to me, and it grated (Pasha's reaction in one of their rehearsals, where he was like, "Calm down" summed it up for me). Just like Lauren, Lacey was a true mug queen, and if I recall correctly, she even mugged excessively after that emotional performance with Neil (the contemporary). Some restraint would have been nice. Lacey is also not really attractive IMO and she was quite skanky There was another female ballroom/latin dancer that I liked heaps more than Lacey too, so she gets the 14th spot only.

Dominic Sandoval


Dominic was perhaps the most colorful of the male characters. He was pretty outspoken and had some pretty weird/funny moments, such as revealing his secret wish to do headspins naked , or his lusting after Kat and couldn't keeping his hands off her . He was fairly good in pretty much everything he did (contemporary, hip hop, rumba, etc), except for that Viennese Waltz where he was just dreadful He also had an issue with lifts, which was kind of funny. I don't really know why though, I never found him to be truly spectacular, and so he gets this pretty mediocre ranking. Another reason why he ranks this low is because of this appearance in this season of SYTYCD (season 4), where all he did was drool after Kherington It was just unnecessary and weird (especially because of I am not a huge fan of Kherington).

Faina Savich



Faina was robbed And by that I mean that she was partnered with Cedric, which was basically a sure kiss of death. I really really wish we'd seen more of her (performing a style other than hip hop or the foxtrot) with a decent partner, and I think she would have been great. Unfortunately, while on the show she really didn't do anything, so she's lucky to be this high.

Jessi Peralta



Jessi was pretty unlucky, what with the week 3 drama where she had some health problems and couldn't perform her cha cha with Pasha. Then, she came back on elimination night where she did the cha cha and it was HOT HOT HOT. Loved it. Her elimination was BS because it should probably have been Lauren (this won't be the first time I say this lol). I do wish she had stayed longer, but there are 10 dancers I like more or find more interesting, so she doesn't make the top 10.

Neil Haskell



Neil was fairly versatile, really likable and had pretty cool solos/tricks. Unfortunately, he wasn't the most versatile male dancer, nor the most likable, nor did he have the best solos/tricks. He never really stood out to me from among the crowd of dancers, and by the end I was a bit tired of him None of his top 5 weeks performances really stood out (although the fact that he was paired with Lauren may have had something to do with it lol ), but after making the top 10 he kind of stepped it up, at least for me. Still, it was a bit too late. His highlights to me were probably his jazz with Sabra and the weird routine with Danny.

Hok Konishi



Beginning with Hok, we enter the realm of dancers whom I like a lot. (#20-10 are dancers I downright dislike, like but didn't see enough of to have a definite opinion, or saw a lot of and feel meh about). Of the 10 initial couples, Jaimie and Hok would probably be among my top 3. They worked really well together, and except for the second week samba, I loved every single one of their dances, even their broadway and waltz (mostly for Jaimie's lines and Hok's valiant effort), both of which got shit reviews from their judges. Also, Hok is apparently a very good violinist <3 Ultimately however, I think Hok wasn't quite as versatile and/or spectacular as the male dancers above him, so he only gets 9th place (which really isn't bad)

Jesus Solorio



Chuy was robbed big time because the week where he was in the bottom 3 with Danny and Neil, Cedric was the one who should obviously gone home. Unfortunately, Shaudric weren't even in the bottom 3 His elimination was pretty depressing, especially because all 3 guys in the bottom were fairly awesome, and all 3 had great solos. Still, Chuy aced everyone of his 3 routines with Sara, and I feel that he deserved to stay over Neil, but whatever. Chuy and Sara were awesome together, and would also be one of my top 3 fav initial couples. <3333 He had a great personality and had a fairly interesting background story, what with him working as a grape-picker in his youth. Had he stayed just a little bit longer, I might have placed him closer to the top 5 because I feel that he had the potential to become my favorite male dancer. Still, Jesus "Chuy" <3
