My mom is big on turtles. She has little things all over with turtles on them. We also have one of those mirror sun ball silver things prominently displayed in
our front yard. Its a turtle on its shell looking like its playing with the ball. It's actually pretty cute.

My grandmother was obSESSED with hens on a nest. She had them in every color. What colors they didn't actually make - she painted! I can't see one
without thinking about her.

One bluebird figurine my mom recently got me. I'm not into birds or really any kind of cutesy animal/bird home decorating stuff, so I'm not really sure
why she got me one. I'm more into architectural/artifact doo dads.

I had a carved duck that my uncle made for us. It was dreadful. My in-laws have lots of chicken things, but they're chicken farmers.

My grandma is into bobbleheads. Her fave is the Jesse Ventura one I gave her for her birthday one year. It has the best display spot in the house and I now
know she loves me best.
But I have a real duck displayed in my house. And a trout. And a deer. And a walleye. I hate them. |
