Love the ocean, love the pool, love the lake if the bottom is sandy. HATE a mushy lake bottom.

I love swimming in pool. I can't swim normally without corner bars.

Pool for me. I am not a strong swimmer so the ocean scares me. Plus in the ocean I am always waiting for a shark to swim up and grab my leg.

The ocean is BEAUTIFUL.
I encourage you to break out of your shell and learn to love it. In fact, I hope you go swimming, enjoy the waves, taste the salt that embodies planet earth... And then I hope a GIANT FUCKING SHARK FUCKS YOU UP! |

I refuse to swim in any body of water that has these fucking things in it.

The best swimming is in a mountain creek.

Pool, outdoor. I don't mind the ocean but I'm rarely near it.

I think swimming in a lake is something you do if the lake is uncommonly pristine or you are very young.

A lot of the inland lakes here in southern Wisconsin are great for swimming. You couldn't PAY me to jump in Lake Michigan though. There aint that much
tetnus in the world.

I actually like swimming in the ocean but there is always that uneasy feeling that you'll get attacked by a shark! I prefer to swim with a group in the
ocean rather then all by myself.

I have no problem swimming in a lake as long as it isn't near a major urban area. I don't even mind water snakes (too much). I once came face to face
with a muskrat (we both panicked and turned tail) and I have kicked snapping turtles. Ah, the summer.

small mountain lake (rocky bottom) is best.

Saltwater pools are the best of both worlds. I'm going to a home with one this weekend in fact. They are wonderful.
People who swim in "swimmin holes" like lakes and cricks are unwashed SHMEGEGGEs. |

WTF? A long hike followed by a dip in a cool mountain creek is bad? No way. |

I never really got the point of "hikes".
I'd much rather just be driven. |

The only problem with hiking is that there is never enough time to do more of it. |

the ocean scares me. i can get in to about waist level and then start freaking out.
JELLYFISH! SHARKS! UGH! I prefer a pool. Best scenario, a pool at the beach. |
