Is it too much that the United Customer Service reps speak English? |

I just spent an hour and a half trying to change 4 flights...4 flights! I get that we're shipping our jobs overseas, but is it too much to ask that
Nasraheem on the other end of the line speaks my friggin language so I can succesfully change a reservation??

I wonder if you call a suicide hotline in Afghanistan if they would try to recruit you for a driver position.

complain and ask for a person that doesn't roll their tongue so damn much, eventually you may get to one that you can understand.
i hate shit being outsourced. |

omg.. i know my accent probably used to be like that, but i HAAAATE it if i get vishnu on the line also. Yesterday all i wanted was to activate my credit card,
and couldn't understand a word the call-center girl said - i was afraid she'd sign me up for stupid offers if i accidently say 'yes' to any
thing

Why are you flying United? Hasn't it been widely established that United is quite possibly the WORST airline operating today? AA comes a close second.

I'll fly any airline at any price as long as they promise not to use the inane airlinespeak.
Nobody makes a "water landing" they fucking crash into the water. And just what in holy hell is "collecting service items" anyway? Picking up trash maybe? Gets on my nerves. I'm reminded of George Carlin. Saw a list once of stupid airline terms. You know what they call it when a pilot can't see the mountain before it's too late and he slams into it? "Controlled flight into terrain." Somebody was paid to come up with that. Probably lots too. Is there no justice in this world? |

I'm chiming in here - because I am totally qualified to work for UA or AA or any airline that uses apollo or sabre!
I can do the job from home. But the at home jobs they offer have to be within a certain mileage of the reservation centers! I have years of experience, but live no where near a reservation center and don't understand why the airlines don't get that there are stay at home moms like me that can do the job - outsource to telecommuting princesses!!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |

Have you tried JetBlue? They hire at home folk all over. If I get someone who tells me their name is "Joe", no matter if it's for tickets or a
credit card or whatever, I tell them my name is Vishna, and I make them call me that. Usually, if you ask for a supervisor, you get someone in the states,
though. So, try that. And, as far as flights go, I really believe if you need to be shown how to put on the seatbelt, you shouldn't be allowed on the
plane.

Thank you for starting this thread. I've gotten into many heated debates over this very topic!
