I am happier when I do nothing. Every 4-5 years I do a zero input, mind numbing sabbatical for a few months from real work.
I am content to take a few months off and do very little, other than tie up some loose ends from home. Wearing booze label t-shirts and jeans, watching kiddie programming with the munchkins, working on a couple old motorcycles, and livin' the k-fed dream. By September, I'll retreat back to the old me. Mediocre is a happy place to vacation and visit. Residency? Not so much. |
