BB2 was the greatest season ever, nothing else comes close. This was the original season that introduced strategic play as head of household was created, along with the players voting out their competitors, rather than America. The cast was awesome, Will, Boogie, Hardy, crazy chain-smoking bitch Nicole, the dude that held a knife to Krista's throat and got kicked off. The old redneck hick Kent befriending the gay guy, Bunky. The season was ruthless, the whole house was divided and Will provided some of the best footage ever to be seen on a reality tv show. Shannon scrubbing the toilet with Hardy's toothbrush was classic. Best season ever, not even debatable.

Season 3 & All-stars would be 2nd & 3rd. After that they were nothing to get excited for. Again, gimmicks & all these twists don't make the show, which unfortunately Alison Grodner hasn't figured out the last few seasons. Cast interesting, entertaining people, it isn't anymore complicated than that. Having a spread out age demographic makes it better as well as it usually divides the house, which produces the animosity & hostility that makes the show great.
