Let's keep track of how long the tokens/minorities on this show last. You get points and stuff if your minority boot order is accurate. The minorities in the running so far.... Omar (single dad) Victor (Inaudible Bitch from Liberia) Victoria (Inaudible Bitch from Nigeria) Jade (multiracial butterfly) Lisa (song battle girl #1) Marie-Pierre (song battle girl #2) Katherine (fodder) more tokens will be added (that is, if they get featured on the show) eta: i'm including the Frenchies too. eta 2: Lisa, Katherine, Marie-Pierre, and Omar survived the cuts and made the Top 24 eta 3: with so few minorities, the females are now in danger of getting massacred. Last season, the population of KKKanada nearly died when there were a record number of tokens (six) in the Top 22. But since Lisa is from Manitoba, she's already doomed. KKKanada will sleep easy over the summer.

I think they toned it down to get ratings back. Lisa will fill in the "well, we are diverse and accepting!!111" quota for the year. And I <3 the coloured folk on Idol shows, too bad one will never win CI.

The grandmothers in Nowhereville, Northern Saskatchewan are probably shaking in their boots and shielding the eyes of the youngins each time she shows up on screen. "Dear heavens, Gertrude! My, my, my! What language is that coloured folk speaking? I'm certain it's not English!" They'll prolly back Martin Kerr for nostalgia's sake (and by nostalgia, I mean the good ol' days of BNA (British North America)

Jully - In an orgasmic twist, she replaces the awful Newfie who makes F2 and is crowned co-winner. 3. Omar - Top 22; gets eliminated because of tough competition with the guys. 4. Victor 5. Jade 6. Victoria - I have a feeling she already got cut during group rounds, but it wasn't shown. Hopefully not. Isn't there also that other black guy in Omar's group? They added Jully but its cause she doesn't scare the whities as much, she's mainstream in KKKanada, sort of a familiar face. They have to keep the "We are a diverse kountry" farce up. 2. I remember there were at least 10 in CI2's Top 32, although only two made Top 10. I guess they're getting more and more discouraged to try out.

Let's face it. They just have to cross the border and get citizenship and try out for AI where they have some sort of shot. CI coloured folk are just filler for "diversity". It's a shame but it is what it is.

(An Obama-looking guy prolly wouldn't win.) They couldn't find more immigrants to truly test KKKanada? And from countries without a northern European heritage?

I guess the judges decided to save KKKanada the trouble. Omar - won't make top 10/12 Lisa - will get cut top 14 week French chick 1, 2 & 3 - won't make the top 10 either Lisa and Marie-Pierre have the best chance. Hopefully one will take Jessica's spot. Lindsay Robbins is gone the first week.

In theory, a woman SHOULD win this season to balance out the six seasons. Only two women have won so far and we need a female to win to make it even. I hope it's Lindsey B., Amberly, or Katelyn But the guys this season are on another level of greatness... We'll see.
