Yesterday, I invited him to a friends house to play Risk. The friend almost always wins and my boyfriend was afraid of looking foolish. He came up with the idea of us forming an alliance and ganging up on the other guy, which is something he said that he did with his sons when they were growing up and with his nephews (the boys are grown and he's divorced). I went along with it forgetting that the friend plays by "tournament" rules forbidding alliances and hints. When he figured out what was going on, he got mad and told my boyfriend never to return to his home.
On top of that, my boyfriend insited on bringing a six pack of beer, wanted to drink a bottle in his car on the way, got mad when I told him not to, and starting speeding when I told him he was going to be late. He had no idea why I was mad at him for making my friend mad, opened a bottle of beer in his car on his way back, barked at me to "stop telling him what to do" and said that he wasn't sure if he wanted to see me again for taking my friend's side.
Up until yesterday, we were talking about moving in together, but now I am not sure if I want to see him again (except to return his ring). Am I over reacting?
