Posts: 73 (06/13/08 2:45 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I've got to thinking...with all the clues floating around that point to about 10 different players and the various ways the players have individually screwed up missions (expect for maybe Clay), who would be your new Mole pick if your current one was executed next week? My current Mole pick is Nicole. She would probably be the most unorthodox Mole ever, which got me wondering who would be her replacement if she were to go. I've settled on Mark as my backup. In fact, I've got one foot in his camp right now. Ignoring the clues that point to the damn guy, his actions are exactly that of a Mole: Grab money bag knowing you will be assigned real money ("we can count on Mark!") Rush everyone and berate them when they return useless items ("I wish Mark would stop yelling at us!") while wasting guesses Volunteer for bike team and reach the summit first while rejecting the taxi offer ("crazy Mark really wants that exemption!") Find a decent amount of pigs and get lost on the way back to the arena, then proceed to rush the slingshot team ("crazy Mark didn't want to waste a single pig!")

I think the religious symbolism in episode 1 was that clue, and the clue from this week was Ali's "I wish I was on THEIR team" referencing the footy game. My backup is honestly a toss-up. I'm wavering between Craig, Victoria, and Nicole as my back-ups. Craig seemed to help out in the last episode but it was for very little money. Victoria seems to be praising the Mole CONSTANTLY. Nicole just seems suspicious. My real back-up is probably Craig.

Posts: 5289 (06/13/08 3:11 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I went in to this thinking it was going to be a guy, but the thumbprint clue + the soccer jersey clue has me thinking it's Victoria right now. She also was one of the ones holding the slingshot wrong (before Craig showed how to do it) so the producers probably told her how to hold it wrong. She split up with the group on the way to the gondolas, bombed the first challenge and did nothing in the second. Plus she gets like every single confessional so she's here for the long haul if she isn't the mole. I don't even know who my backup would be now. If Craig hadn't helped with the slingshot it would've been him, but that could be because it'd be awesome if it was.

I've gotta disagree with this one. Taking the taxi would have nearly ensured that no money would be won on that task, it'd net him the exemption, and it'd actually remove extra money from the pot. The fact that it wouldn't even be solely his decision, allowing him to peg the blame on the person with him (who was very much entertaining the idea, it seems), just says to me that he had an easy way to ensure sabotage, and he didn't take it. On the other hand, Kristen did exactly what I would expect the Mole to do in that situation. She calmly sat down to have a drink with the host, not at all worried about what he was about to say or about whether she was wasting time she might need to ensure her exemption. She listened to his offer, and tried to get Mark to consider it, despite his quick and ferocious, "NO, WE HAVE TO GET MOVING!" Kristen's my Mole pick right now, and if she were to be eliminated next episode, I'd certainly be looking at Victoria next.

In performing successfully, Mark and Kristen still managed to sabotage the rest of the team while looking "competitive." Perfect Mole play.

Right now my gut is telling me it's Alex, but if he goes I'll pick Kristin.

Afterwards, having a bible on the beach during the Crusoe mission seems a little weird. But idk if this counts but she said she would be ready to jump off a cliff, and they did so in the first mission. And if they re-use the number theory in Season 1, it would match since this is Season 3, Ali is 3 letters. My back-up would be Bobby, he sucks physically and his pre-show interview said he studied Spanish for 5 years, so if that was true, he probably pretended he didn't speak spanish and sat in the wheelbarrow to prevent any pigs from being found and he may have known that the pig was no longer there and made Kristen look for it longer and waste more time Last Edited By: Avilsta 06/15/08 12:23 PM. At the same time, what's $5,000? Chump change, really, especially since Mark and Kristen were already trying to cost the team $35k. Logically, if I were another player, I'd expect competitor and Mole alike to take that taxi. No Mole would ever be as obvious (or repetitive) as he's being.
