I was disappointed by the episode tonight, but I'm looking forward to the Cohen/ATF angle. Should make things more interesting.

this show kind of grows on you.
nutting a paedo rapist clown? now that's entertainment! and dutch (again with a badge) making his entrance as the kind of boyfriend you need to take a restraining order out on? this doesn't look good for jax. this just keeps getting better... |

SurvivorSurvivorSurvivor wrote: X That's how The Riches seemed to me - almost a really good show. I ended up watcing all of it, though. And now I don't even know if they're bringing it back. There should be an MPAA (or whoever) edict that every show must have a finale, even if it's rushed and retarded. I need closure, god damn it. As for SoA, I just watched the 3rd ep, and I'm liking it enough to keep watching. Peg Bundy rocks every scene she's in, and since Adriana is only listed as a guest star, it's looking like Peg will eventually get to take her out. Unfortunately, I was just about sold on the whole concept (bikers on kiddie coasters aside) and then they made the fucking stalker an ATF agent. WHAT A COINCIDENCE But then the clown balls in the mailbox won me over again. Such is FX. |

Anybody still watching this? bumpage
This show was really starting to lose me until the other night. I thought that clown had it bad, Kyle's gonna have trouble putting on his shirt tomorrow morning. And they didn't even show what happened to the wanker... |

This show is growing on me more and more.
Last night's ep was pretty funny and brutal. "jerky jerky man no come her no more" |

Perlman is over the top, but I like him. It works for the leader of biker gang. Jax does a pretty good American accent. He was good in Green Street Hooligans. Last week's primer on how to beome an old lady was kind of frightening. That little blondie was
smart to get out!

I love this show.....major ouch on the tattoo removal . And Jax trying to read his father's journal afterwards but could not.....poor guy he seems really
conflicted. Does anyone here think that maybe Clay might be his real dad instead of Sam? I have been wondering that since his mother made the comment to Clay
about following the right father's way.

Just watched last week's episode. That tattoo removal scene was completely brutal.
The wanker was priceless. "I love jerky jerk man" |

I think this show is starting to find its rhythm, but the lead character (pretty boy with the blonde hair) still isn't compelling to me. Katey Sagal and
Kim Coates steal almost all of their scenes, and Pearlman and the brunette from MAD MEN make far more of an impression. That said, I wanted to know more about
the guy playing Sprague Grayden's husband -- the idea that she could be unwittingly making things more difficult to him (where the club is concerned) is
intriguing. That gets into the whole premise of being a member of a motorcycle gang, which is what I signed up for. I also liked the little sideplot of the
girl "working" towards becoming a biker's gal, and her having to explain some things to the upstart twit.

PAPAYOKE wrote: fx agrees with you... NewsOctober 6, 2008 5:07 PM FX Picks Up Second Season of 'Sons of Anarchy'FX said it has ordered a second 13-episode season of its original drama "Sons of Anarchy." The network said the show has been its most consistent first-year drama since "Rescue Me" and has been averaging a cumulative audience of 5.4 million total viewers and 3.5 million adults 18 to 49 over its five telecasts per week. "It's incredibly gratifying to everyone at FX in at this time when 'The Shield'-the show that got our critically acclaimed original programming brand started-is airing its final season, their loyal audience has embraced `Sons of Anarchy' and made it a success," FX President John Landgraf said in a statement. "We're also very proud of the day-in-day-out creative excellence the 'Sons of Anarchy' writers and actors are bringing to the table." The series, about an outlaw motorcycle gang in a small California town, is produced by Fox21 and stars Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal and Ron Perlman. Ms. Sagal's husband, Kurt Sutter, created the show and serves as an executive producer. "I think the underlying themes of family and the common man's fight against oppressive corporate greed has grabbed people's attention," Mr. Sutter said. "It's relatable, it's very timely and it's why the audience is coming back week after week. I love the action and the dark places the show goes, but ultimately it's the bigger, more poignant themes that inspire me." |

Good news! I'm glad I stuck with it, I really didn't like it at first and now it's better every week. F/X is such a great network.

Some ratings news from zap2it:
In its five weekly telecasts, the series is averaging 5.4 million viewers (first airings are in the 2 million-viewer range), 3.5 million of whom fall in the adults 18-49 demographic. The show has retained 97 percent of its weekly viewers since its premiere, which FX says is the most consistent performance for a first-year drama in network history. 97% is ridiculously impressive for any show, for a show like this, it's incredible. I definitely agree that the show is starting to find its rhythm, and I'm very glad, it has a lot of potential. |

i finally figured out who the perlman character reminds me of...
which is cool, but every time he puts on that "skull cap" helmet he looks like a penis with a joe camel face. y'all know that they originally cast scott glen for this part (this guy)
* silence of the lambs, courage under fire, training day, w. * ron perlman is alright. i just wish they would have stuck with scott glenn... great ep. peg bundy getting all old and all drying up and shit. then totally skateboarding the tart. (and then the tart getting all "clever" asking peg if that's how her boobs got so big?) heh. us civilians love to watch the "neer-do-wells" take revenge on their problems because we can't. the sopranos seemed reluctant to go this route. samcro seems to step it up with each ep. fuck yeah! oh, and i loved the new hard nipple, grab ass, over the top female fed tonight. she has the possibility for all sorts of fun... |

I was disappointed by last night's episode. It just didn't flow well and felt rushed. I was hoping Kohn would stick around longer, I liked the
dimension he added to the show. Meh. I was expecting more.
