Wow this list brings back memories of being absolutely floored by fruity pebbles and apple jacks and fruit loops when I was a five year old Kiwi visiting my grandparents in California. We just did not have that kind of tasty crap in New Zealand back in the 70s.

SonOfAbraxas will be crushed that this cereal did not rank #1. However, the fun of the list is in the journey, not the end result. Fruity Pebbles, you had an amazing journey and have nothing to be ashamed of. It was quite the Cinderella story in the making.

Fruity Pebbles is a delicious cereal that I have been eating since I was just a wee lad. This is the counterpart to Cocoa Pebbles, which made the list a few entries back. The yin to it's yang, so to speak. Chances are that you either like both varieties of Pebbles, or you don't like them at all. Both cereals have their strong points, but FP gets the slight nod in my book. It is just so colorful and fruity, it is like the flavor is just jumping out of the bowl. It makes your milk fruity afterward too. Fruity milk isn't as good as chocolate, but it's a fair compromise. I don't endorse the use of illegal drugs whatsoever, but I have eaten Fruity Pebbles whilst stoned on the marijuana a few times in my life, and it is a great experience. The colors are vibrant and visually pleasing, and the cereal tastes better than ever. =0

And the excitement of fruity pebbles connection to the - The Flinstones. And I just loved that Pebbles was a red head like me so the whole thing was sheer amazment.
What a relief such a thread has been unmemoryholed.

I don't think they have Cinnamon Toast Crunch. in New Zealand.

It sounds like the kind of thing I would eat and my husband would keep telling me it confectionary not breakfast.
