QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS STORM. IF YOU ARE IN ITS PATH...PREPARE IMMEDIATELY FOR DAMAGING WINDS...DESTRUCTIVE HAIL... AND DEADLY CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. PEOPLE
OUTSIDE SHOULD MOVE TO A SHELTER... PREFERABLY INSIDE A STRONG BUILDING BUT AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

No storms for me, thank goodness. But I really don't like all that rain the Mississippi towns north of here are getting. (We took our sandbag wall down.)

Tons of rain last night - archery league canceled this morning.
Here we go again... 
The greatest threats with these powerful storms will be damaging straight-line winds and torrential downpours. The potential for tornadoes is not as high as it was for Friday, but a tornado or two in the strongest of storms cannot be ruled out. Storm, wind and flood-related watches and warnings are in effect across the Upper Midwest and western Great Lakes. |

We had a big ol' storm this morning - kids' archery was canceled. But since then, all the threats and nuthin'! Kids are out picking up firework
debris left over from the 4th. Warm, cloudy, but breezy enough to chase the skeeters away.

I'm currently under a tornado watch. It was storming heavily here then it got eerily calm and the sky was an odd color, but nothing has happened since
then.

I just went through it. It woke me up because the power went off (and then back on). Then I had to shut windows and try to get my kitty cat inside, so now
