I went to the beach last month and I'm going again in two weeks. I love love the beach.
All in all this has been a pretty sad summer for me though....

See.. I can't do that family and kids thing for a whole week. When I went last month it was a chick trip.
The next one is with brothers, sisters, parents, kids.. and all they freaking do is cook and wash dishes. I can not deal with that shit for a week. Cooking and cleaning is not my idea of vacation. I'm a spoiled hotel/housekeeping/restaurant only bitch. Lucky for me, China is exactly like me! We won't be eating at the house the second night. We're going back to the same club I went to last month to see the same band. (kinda weird goin' to da club with my kid.. but she's almost 22 now!!) And we'll be out shopping and stuff and missing meals.. which means missing clean-up as well. The only thing we don't have in common is I love hanging out in the sun during the day and she thinks sitting in heat on purpose even in the shade is mad crazy.
Anyway, we'll be there Saturday through Tuesday and jetting back home. We're not staying all week.

Yeah we have a huge house, too. And the youngest of the kids is 11 now. (on Steve's side of the family) They do sandwiches for lunch a lot, too, but it's that big ass breakfast every morning that makes my ass expand.. then cooking at the beach house at least 5 of 7 nights. I'm not down with that. And the washer/dryer is going all the time, too. Damn, that's like being home 'cept for an ocean outside the door.
