Interesting that Amanda went without Ozzy.
Coversely, Ozzy went on the USO trip to Iraq and the Global TV Upfront event in Toronto without Amanda. She was shooting The Reef during the Iraq trip, but still. |

I'm not telling any of the bad stuff. Only good. You seem to be a Romber fan, so I will share this: I had a stellar end to a stellar weekend. Woke up at 10:30 on Sunday and checkout was at 11:00. So I called the desk and told them I was lame and needed an extra hour which was cool (The Galt House was amazing). When I got to the lobby for checkout, I got to see Denise and her kids one last time. And a couple of internet friends. Then caught the shuttle to the airport. While I was boarding the shuttle, Rob and Amber came out. It was just the 3 of us. She was carrying their "torch" from the event. The organizers gave the celebs a Louisville Slugger with a tiki torch mounted on it. She said they were headed to Vegas to visit Rob's sister. And she didn't have a way to get it sent home and I am guessing she didn't want to "deal" with it. So she asked if I would like to have it. I told her I would really like that. Rob offered up their autographs and I whipped a Sharpie out. We chatted on the ride but I gave them their space. They asked who my fave Survivor was and of course I told them Jake. We chatted about the different seasons and they couldn't remember all the players! I had to tell them which season such and such was on! lmao! And they can't believe how much time we devote to our Survivor hobby. They didn't even know what "spoilers" were. |

I didn't notice how Rob and Amber interacted with the other guests. I know that they won big at Churchill Downs because they were buying champagne for
everyone. Alexis is drop dead gorgeous. She hung out with Natalie all weekend. I happened to see the 2 of them encounter a toddler. A little boy with white
blonde hair who was a ham. They doted on him and he took to them like the goddesses that they are. It was cool to see that side of them.

Romber were never into the Online side of Survivor things, nor have they had much to do with the Survivor community since ASS.
I'd love to hear about Amanda meeting Romber (since she is sorta Amber 2.0). Did she hang out more than the China or Micronesia folks? Any more Natalie stories? How did people react to her? (She posted a Myspace bulletin that she had a good time, and you can tell there that she likes to interact with fans.)

Hey all. If I can figure out how to post a photo here, I'll gladly pick out some of the better ones. In the meantime, I've got them on my myspace

I gotta say that everyone, even Peih-Gee, was very cool when you talked to them one on one. It's a weird situation....because the celebrities don't know us. It's an obvious instinct to stay within their comfort zone and stay with those that they know. However, that being said, when I went up to them, introduced myself and said hello, everyone was nice and pleasant. Some people put themselves out a bit more, but I gotta say that no one was outright rude. As far as the challenge went, we came in 4th, which I was very happy with. I had Erik (S16), Denise (S15) and Terry (AR10). Erik and Terry were ROCKSTARS in my eyes. They just did not tire out at all. It took all I had to keep up with them. Everyone worked well as a TEAM, and got along really well. I was very happy with how we did. I just thought that the whole event was AMAZING, and I can't wait to do it again next year. |

My sister went. She had a blast. She was invited up to Erik and Jason's suite, so she got to hang out with most of the Survivors all night. She said
Courtney was the coolest.
*edit* My sister is the freakishly tan one in the tagged pics. lol. I told her she needs to stop that! |
