ETA: Oh please. Leroy is not afraid of Teresa. Those bogus judges are scraping up any excuse they can to make sure that Travis and Presley make the final 2. They've gotten rid of T&L and set the stage to boot JD and Galaxy next week. 'Cause while I don't care much for JD, it's obvious that he loves that dog and he was not being threatening toward her. What bullshit! I love Andrew and have since I started watching the show, but I think Galaxy is an amazing dog, too. And Presley has the cutest damn facial expressions! That "lack of spontaneity" crap that JD was getting as criticism was just weird. What kind of spontaneity was that asshat judge guy looking for??

Afterward, they changed it to not only loyalty, but how you act with your dog. I don't like Theresa, and sure she seemed a bit aggressive, but she lived up to the "original" challenge given to them, not whatever the British bitch decided to word it as afterward. That being said, I'm totally on the Andrew bandwagon. Right once they mentioned the challenge, i knew he had it in the bag. Andrew FTW!

Those Judges suck and ruined the show IMO. Leroy would have been so much better in the finals and just may have won it if the judges weren't against Teresa so much. Bitches can be jealous and I don't mean the canine kind either...

When did they ever mention about which style of command you should be using? Travis/Presley CLEARLY were the worst and failed the challenge, I just don't get it. At least Laurie/Andrew didn't lose at their expense. After this episode I think they have a shot at winning <3.

I think Travi/Presley will win. They're freakin highlighted on every episode recap. At first I thought that meant they were in danger of leaving that episode but since they're still there and it's been like 7 weeks I can see that as a cheap attempt at "winners edit"

There was a show on the Outdoor Life network here in Canada called Top Dogs. It would be agility competitions, retrieving tests, flyball, stuff like that. Well, many a border collie would yelp and bark when doing obsticle courses, its part of being a huge bundle of energy, and it was considered normal exuberant behaviour for that breed of dog. They seem to know a lot about how dumb boxers are, but little about other breeds.... Theresa being firm with Lee while he wanted to play soooooooo bad with all his high on meth type energy kept him sitting. And Galaxy is not robotic, she's well trained! Travis reminds me of a young Dana Carvey, especially the way he talks. I'm pretty sure it's Andrew for the win (he is pretty cute, but i'm not entirely a small dog fanatic), but Galaxy by far is my favourite dog left. And, the judges and producers of this show should give their collective heads a shake, i mean, put a quarter of a mill on the line, and you don't think they will push their dogs to perform?

If Presely had moved to the last ring but was still inside the yellow, then I could see the judges focusing more on the owner's technique but Presley flat out FAILED the challenge and went to seek out the toy that JD was holding and tempting him with. They should have been axed. The judges wanted to keep him in the end, so they were willing to focus on other aspects to justify it. * I am so happy that what hurt Andrew/Star last week and helped the other dogs, helped Andrew this week and hurt the other dogs. The challege of jumping off the zip line was not about blind loyalty..it was about being a risk taker and suprise surprise..the low energy, laid back dogs didn't do it. Being laid back and unphased came in handy this week and if Star had still been in the comp. I think she would have faired well as well. * Andrew FTW! I have been obsessed and in love with little Andrew since Day1 (my posts here show that). I am so happy that he made it to the Final and although I am convinced that Travis/Presley are winning this thing, especially w/ Leroy gone..I can't help but root for Andrew even if he is a total Momma's boy to the millionth power.

But then after the atrocity that was last week's episode (which I only just watched last night) I should be grateful to be weaned off this show even, if not on purpose. I could not believe the crap on the last episode, where people were basically asked to put their dogs in harmful situations. This show had so much potential but last week was all the evidence needed that they shouldn't be allowed to have another season. I thought it was completely appalling and I can't believe there wasn't more in the media about how ridiculous those challenges were. But perhaps no one else is watching this show anymore, so there's no point.

I've come to this show late, but am digging it. Leave it to sofa to offer a trenchant analysis of the problems. The guy with Galaxy was being authoritarian, true, but note how he kept the dog's attention on him a few feet away and not on the antics in the background. For the judge to criticize him for that was just weird. These people obviously have no real way to judge these competitions and are pulling random judging elements out of their asses as the competition unfolds. Galaxy's ownere is justifiably pissed as the Brit bitch. And since when do all US judging shows need a bitter Brit on the panel? More infuriating to me is when orange dog Starr simply couldn't run in her harness. Why didn't they give the dog a better harness? Still they did have a point with the sheepdog. That bitch was yelling the poor dog into submission. Correct result tonight, I think. I dunno about the show. It seems they keep putting the doggies into stress situations that they ought not to be in. Maybe that's the real life world in professional dogshow events and it's leaching into this competititon?
