8. Nicole-Way too dramatic to be on my radar at this point. She did suck at the luge, though. 7. Craig-I'm not getting where people get the idea he's the mole from. The fact he whines about his weight every challenge? He sucks at everything, and for now I can't see him as the mole. 6. Alex-We've reached the point where all of the obvious non moles have been cut, and almost everyone is a suspect. Alex is lowest on my list because he does about 50/50 in the challenges. 5. Clay-I'm starting to see it. I want more evidence before I go all in, but I think he could quite easily be the mole. He has done too well in the past to rank higher on my list. If he's the mole...hats off to him. 4. Victoria- Popular opinion seems to think it's her, but I don't buy it! The thumb print theory is a major stretch. "OMG, THEY ZOOMED IN ON HOT GIRLS BUTT! SHE IS THE MOLE!!1!!!ELEVEN!" 3. Paul-Considering the dumbed down path the show has taken I think an OTT player could be the mole, but my friend thinks he's the mole. Her first suspect was Ali, and her second was Bobby. 'nuff said. 2. Mark-He's just very shady, and obviously acting to an extent. Bobby trusted him. Liz probably did. He grabbed a bag to seem like a hero, but now he's just coasting and sucking. 1. Kristen-She's always seemed mole-ish to me, so I'm going with my gut. |

I think its Kristin. She's been on some pretty convenient teams, with the bicycle exemption as well as the pig task. I mean, she came out looking like a
HERO for carting Bobby around and leading Craig even though neither of the trio did jack.

My post episode one pick was Victoria but it's been Kristen since she was willing to push Bobby around in the wheelbarrow.

Mateui wrote:Except Craig had no way of knowing that the other teams had already made it to the restaurant (it would have been difficult for the producers to inform him of such a development without Nicole and Bobby noticing). And since finding pants for Craig may have been nearly impossible, he could have easily cost the team money by not finding the laundromat, and he couldn't even be blamed for it, since it would be labeled a product of his size, not his sabotage. Once again, Craig is looking for a way to be the hero, and once again, it actually helps the team. Victoria has been too (genuinely) emotional to be the moleI'm not so sure it's been genuine. Her anger at Paul was pretty convincing, but her over-the-top reaction during the bribe really wasn't. I mean, hasn't it been revealed she has connections to the aspiring mactor world anyway? So she may very well have her acting chops at the ready. And besides, Kathryn was an emotional train wreck during her time as the Mole. Moles can get caught up in friendships just as easily as players can. I stick by my opinion that Victoria's elaborate emotional outbursts are all an act. In my mind, the following players are all eliminated as Mole possibilities: Paul, Nicole, Craig These players are absolute long-shots, and they'd need some heavy evidence very soon in order for me to consider them: Clay, Mark I don't see him as the Mole, but it's possible: Alex And then there are my two primary suspects, Victoria and Kristen. Everything Victoria does seems fake to me. There seem to be lots of clues pointing to her, her reactions to everything seem too over-the-top to be legitimate, and her early green screen this episode allowed her to pull a, "Oh, god, is the bribe still on the table?! Oh, I'm safe? Well, then I guess nobody would expect me to take the bribe a couple minutes from now, despite my worries." Perfect production set-up. Only problem with Victoria is that she doesn't seem to be doing too much real sabotage. Which is why Kristen remains my #1 pick. She's getting the edit I'd expect the Mole to get, she's getting the confessionals I'd expect the Mole to get, she's sabotaged here and there, she's been calm under pressure, she fades into the background when need be but still does what needs to be done, and the fact that she was the first one green-screened in the bribe eviction definitely draws my attention to her even more.

Hmm well I've been re-watching episodes and this is what i have right now on my rankings of The Mole:
Clay: Got Money bag, Got random items for beach challenge, Can't really tell with soccer, Started out fast with the pigs but got lost, Talked after finish line for fruits and stated "I didn't even know we broke the rules", Did not participate in Spa challenge Kristen: Got money bag, Didn't see during beach much, Went with Mike for exemption but wasn't in as much of a hurry, Slow in Pig mission and drove Bobby around in wheelbarrow, 7/7 in fruit challenge, Didn't want to give up and got clothes for Spa challenge Victoria: Did not get money bag, Didn't see much during beach, Can't tell with soccer, Helped in pig challenge but overal invisible, Talked after finish line in fruit mission and was the one mainly talking, Didn't want to give up in Spa mission Alex: Did not attempt to get money bag, Didn't see during beach challenge much, Bad penalty kick, Had the right direction after soccer, Helped group to get pigs but bad slingshot performance, Left Journal purposly in Bobby's room, Listened to Nicole in fruit challenge and only got 1 right, Got shirts right away Craig: Attempted to get bag, Slow during beach, Can't tell with soccer, wanted to do the uphill battle at first when he didn't know unless he isthe mole, Talked after finish line, Spots the Laundrimat for the clothes Nicole: Got money bag, Didn't participate in beach, Bad goalie in soccer, Suggested Mark/Kristen for uphill challenge, helped a litlte in pig challenge but very invisible, Sabatoged whole fruits of the luge mission, got clothes easily and one of the first done Mark: Got money bag, Didn't know about the items even though he's a history teacher, Wanted exemption badly for uphill challenge but did not cost group $5000 for taxi cab, Started out good in pig challenge but got lost, 7/7 for fruit of luge challenge, did not participate in Spa challenge due to "self-respect" Paul: Did not get money bag, Tired and gave up on beach challenge, Ended up spitting on grass and sitting down during soccer game but blamed others (Bobby) for doing nothing, Broke the pig causing $1000 for the group and got an exemption, 5/7 for fruits of the luge challenge, Got most of the clothes because of Alex but found the pants, fights with otehr people to throw them of there games. Rankings due to Facts : 1. Victoria: looking at the missions she has performed badly 2/6 and was Bobby's friend so he wouldn't have guessed her during his eviction, 2. Clay: Around 3/6 for challenges but he just seems very molish and it could be 2/6 because he got random items for beach, although i don't think the mole would not participate in a challenge because of self-respect 3. Paul: 2-3/6 Makes it seem like he's doing alot when he isn't, and blames others so they won't think it's him. 4. Craig: if you look at all the missions he has performed the worst 1/6 but was also Bobby's friend & Liz's friend so it could be him. But the fact that he found the laundrimat & Wanted to do the uphill challenge when knowing a fast person needs to do it to get the exemption takes him out. 5. Kristen: Performed fairly well in challenges, I don't think she's the mole 6. Mark: Look at list above, no chance he is the mole, he performed very well during challenges 7. Nicole: Wants people to think she's the mole but she isn't, and the fact she suggested Mark/Kristen for the uphill challenge is kind of big because she would want fast people to do that challenge. 8. Alex: Performed very well in challenges compared to others Rankings I think: 1. Clay - VERY MOLISH 2. Victoria - obviously the fav choice is her right now 3. Paul - doesn't do much and makes it seems like he's doing alot 4. Kristen - hard to read and seems a litlte molish 5. Craig - I think he personally just sucks at the challenges and he did find the laundrimat 6. Alex - Seems sketchy 7. Mark - He's done fairly well, i doubt he's the mole 8. Nicole - Way too obvious, wouldn't sabatoge missiosn like that, only wants people to think she's the mole. |

I've pretty much ruled out Alex, Craig, Mark, & Clay, so my top 4 rankings as of right now are:
Nicole, Kristen, Paul 4) Victoria - Early on, she was one of my last choices, and I'm still not convinced at all, but she's moving up. 3) Paul - I don't think he's the mole, I think he's just an arrogant asshole, BUT, he has done a LOT of sabotaging, so I'm 50/50. 2) Kristen - She seems quite sketchy to me, but who knows. 1) Nicole - Might be too obvious, but I just think its her, she's done very little to help them, and quite a bit to hurt them. Who knows though, hell, it could be Alex whose my #8. |

My rankings:
1. Victoria - Still sticking with her as my pick 2. Kristen - Every episode that she is on she becomes more and more molish to be. My second pick after Victoria. 3. Alex - He has done just well enough for suspicions to drift to other people. Seems to be able schmooze people decently too so I am not going to take my eye off him yet. 4. Craig - Could the loveable fat guy be the mole? I don't think so. He seems to just be happy that he is still there. 5. Clay - Every episode I tell myself that I am going to pay attention to him particularly so I can see if I get any vibes off of him, but then I always forget. Oh well. If he is the mole then he is even fooling me. 6. Mark - He just tries too hard in the challenges and you can tell that he honestly wants to win most of them 7. Paul - Don't think that he is the mole, but he is setting himself up to possibly be the winner. 8. Nicole - If she is just trying to get people to think that she is the mole then she is doing a bad job. 'Cause she is not the mole. |

I have to agree with the people who say Kristen because she's been my top suspect since the premiere. I don't know what it is about her, but something
about her screams MOLE to me. If it's not her then I think it's Mark. I found it really strange how he was the first person to take his robe off when
Jon said they weren't allowed to wear them, but as soon as Clay bowed out so did he. Maybe he's just trying to trick us, but that was a good Mole
moment.

Clay and Mark both seemed to be SCREAMING mole last week.
So I'm not as suspicious of them. This list is pretty off the top of my head at this point, but... 1. Craig 2. Victoria 3. Kristen 4. Nicole 5. Clay 6. Paul 7. Alex 8. Mark I thought female mole since the start, but then I also thought Ali from th start... |

My money's still on Alex, though Kristen's definitely on my radar. Clay's a very distant third.
I must admit a good part is gut instinct. I think how they act is more indicative than what they do. At least, if past moles are any indication. Craig, Nicole, and definitely Paul have all been too loud, excitable or out-front to be the mole. Mark, Clay, Victoria have all been quickly and too friendly/in coalitions with other contestants to be the mole. Mark and Paul, and maybe even Nicole are too alpha-male, gotta-win, driven, Corbin Bernsen-like people to be humble enough to be the mole. Alex has sabotaged a lot of games he should have done well at, in very subtle ways. He wasn't even in the right time zone to get a money bag; he was the most fit gatherer on the beach and didn't seem to produce anything (can't blame Mark for not selecting an item that wasn't there---he/they did get all three possible items right), blew the soccer kick, got a lot of the pigs but if he's going to blow it in the sling-shot how many he got is irrelevant, but his most blatant sabotage was the fruit. Other callers repeated items, like when trying to remember a list. Flubbing an item at the start, but getting the rest perfect is a very molish thing to do. You look like it was just a little error, but in fact cost a lot. |

From the reactions tonight, I think the producers stepped in because half the people all ready know who the mole is so the quizes are going to get
rediculously hard

I'm putting my money on Mark. Acting pissed about his journal would be a great way to make people think he's very focused at winning the game,
especially combined with his "I'm doing it for my family" stuff. He seems to be the one most-focused on playing and winning the game, and what
better guise would a mole want?

There will be a giant twist, nobody will see it coming.
The mole is Ali. Yes, the girl who was "bribed" to leave the game for $30,000. Notice how tonight's quiz was a tie, but for some reason it wasn't stated how many players tied.. don't be surprised when the rest of the quizzes from here on out are ties too, since the only "right" answer on any of the quizzes will be "Is the Mole male or female?" or if they don't do an epic twist like that, it's probably Mark. |

After episode 4;
1. Alex! - for the reasons I posted a few pages back and EnricoV posted below. He's sabotaged something in every round of the game. 2. Mark 3. Clay ------------- 4. Kristin ------------- 5. Craig 6. Nicole 7. Paul - There's a myriad of reasons why it's not him. |

Now that Victoria is gone I'm firmly setting my mind on Mark as the Mole. He appears to be a team player but he's cost the team money numerous times...
and what better way to get people to not suspect him then to set himself up as the journal-obsessed guy from day 1 knowing well in advance that everyone's
journals would be burned just a couple of rounds later. Isn't it kind of suspicious that he left the players for some unknown amount of time in the
darkness? Producer briefing perhaps? It just seems all so convenient.
I also think that Kristen is onto him. She's spent a great deal of time close to him and in tonight's episode she seemed to glance over at him and smile when he was getting his results - as if knowing that he was acting. I think that she's our winner. |
