I'm assuming that means that Boatman was not, in fact, the Mole.

I don't mind red herrings, I think they make things interesting.

I never look for--or pay attention to--the 'clues' anyway. I think that's a totally unnecessary part of the show. In fact, it's the only part
of the show I don't like, and I love this show.

Are we even sure that they are giving us one clue per episode? Anderson Cooper used to say "watch for the hidden clue of the identity of the mole"
each episode. This new host didn't say, did he?

Ok, rewatching episode one... I think "11" is the first clue...and I think Mark is the Mole...
1. If you watch the introduction as the players are arriving in the car, 1st car, showing Clay & Victoria at the back, Bobby and Liz middle, then showing Nicole front, then Paul driving. 2nd car showing Craig, Marci & Ali at the back, we don't see Kristen but know where she sits (cause of her long hair showing)...then Alex driving. The puzzle here is that it seems like Alex's driving 2nd car, but he's actually driving 1st car, Liz's at the back...and Mark's no where to be seen. 2. When the host says place your suspicion on the card who's the Mole, the shot goes to Mark right away. 3. The first 2 tasks involve only 11 players. 4. Mark's the 11th jumper 5. Mark's intro is #2 (but if in flip the around, 1st intro is #12, then 2nd intro is #11) 6. Mark's 11th picture on the execution screen 7. After Mark's name got call, the next was Marci, first victim 8. With all the players doing confessions, Mark's the last person having a confession 9. After Marci got the red screen, first shot goes to Mark

I'm wondering what scrambled letters we got this time. I know Craig didn't have any.

GRATIA PLENA | ||
|
As in "Ave Maria, gratia plena." Hail Mary, full of Grace.
Right before that Jon says, "May the Mole be merciful." Then we see "GRATIA PLENA." Full text: Áve María, grátia pléna, Dóminus técum. Benedícta tu in muliéribus, et benedíctus frúctus véntris túi, Iésus. Sáncta María, Máter Déi, óra pro nóbis peccatóribus, nunc et in hóra mórtis nóstrae. Ámen.
Then in sucession: Mary. With a BLUE background. An angel and Jesus being taken down from the cross. Touched by another Mary, Mary Magdaleine, wearing BLUE. Then the first Question is, "Is the Mole Male or Female." And the shot is ALI. As I said in the Last Supper Clue, Ali is in the place immediately to Jon's Right, which is supposedly "The Vessel" or Holy Grail, that is metaphorically Mary Magdalene in the "daVinci Code." As to "11". Ali is the First shot pondering the Quiz and the First to be checked for elimination. 1 + 1 = 11. |

Besides the religious statues, I can't spot any...need to rewatch...

Continuing with the Christianity clues, there was the virgin Mary statue and Victoria also crossed herself before taking the quiz.

Besides the continuation of religious imagery, I noticed that the opening credits seemed to have changed slightly. Besides the player's profiles being
shown faster, Kristen's green flash is no longer there, and I'm not sure whether some of the lens flares were changed around. I'll take a look at
the credits again tomorrow and see what changed.

I still wonder if we even have any hidden clues. The host doesn't mention there's "hidden clues"...

Jon was wearing a sweater with 'Italia' and (I think) 5 stars on it. Wardrobe for the host is well controlled by the production. Why have this
sweater? Is it a clue to Italian-American Paul? Or a misdirection?

Observations and possible clues/red herrings:
-Mark was wearing a soccer shirt during the first challenge -When Liz was executed, she said something along the lines of "the mole got me" and they show a shot of her with Alex's big head in the foreground -Jon and his Pesco Sours again, wtf -Virgin Mary statue, continuation of religious theme was the obvious one |

Tonights clue J is for Judas | ||
|
Continuing with the "Last Supper" references from the first episode, on the question tonight "Who is the Mole" the choice of names were listed A-K, and J was Paul. J = Judas Also, not only was Judas the betrayed of Jesus he was apparently designated to keep account of the money of the disciples' (John 12:6) This religious theme/Biblical imagery would mesh with the info Screerider posted above about the possible origins of the name Grassi being "a nickname from the Old French word "grace", meaning charm, itself from the Latin word "gratia"."
I think Paul Grassi is the mole |

Don't shoot me, I'm new at this.
In a hotel scene, everything was in black and white but Nicole was blueish green. |

I think the clues are little easier to figure out if you're paying attention and don't require this much in depth analysis.
I think Victoria is the Mole so this kind of stuck out to me from last night's episode. When they were going to the do the Soccer game thing Jon held up the jersey with the mole fingerprint on it, then it was tossed to Victoria, she was the first one to get the jersey and the only one shown getting the jersey. It's sort of an obvious clue but I also find it to be subtle, they were all getting jerseys to play, she just got her first. It just seems like something people watching wouldn't necessarily notice or care about but can easily be brought back as a clue in the end. |

yawnandahalf wrote: Ummmmmm one flaw in your theory. The names are placed in alphabetic order. So anyone could of been J. Plus the religious thing is a stretch. A far stretch. If they were going to take the whole Judas thing into account don't you think they would ask a question. . .where was the mole sitting during the 1st dinner especially if Jon pointed out Last Supper? So like totally yeah, Paul isn't the mole. He's never really attempted to keep money out of the pot and his general disdain for some of his other team members is more proof of that. If you're basing your theory on religious images how bout the bitch who prayed the first episode and is more than likely a virgin or at least born again. Everyone knew that Ali was a Christian b4 the show started. Plus she tried to get her team lost with a shortcut making it possible for the exemption team, couldn't catch the bag, and has pretty much flew UTR. |
