The ratings are good if you consider the fact that the show is on against two other high rated reality shows. While Wipeout is not up against such big competition, just Celebrity Family Feud and reruns, nothing remotely comparable to America's Got Talent and Hell's Kitchen. I like Wipeout, but it's not something I'd go out of my way to watch. The hosts are annoying to me and the "big balls" schtick is going to get old fast. |

@ Ben getting medivacced on a show like this, and so soon. He sucked. Darcy's return wasn't terribly exciting either though.
<3 Meaghan getting fired. "If this was my job, I'd probably commit suicide." <3 the dead skin eating fish enjoying Cathy's feet the most <3 Donnell's strategery and feeling like 1000 YEN <3 Olga's meltdown and attempt to break up the two cunts. "I DON'T HAVE TIME TO GRIEVE RIGHT NOW...I HAVE TO GET THROUGH A CRAZY JAPANESE GAME!" </3 Olga getting the boot, but oh well. Meaghan is transforming into an epic villainess so I like her. The only one I didn't like at all was Justin, and he grew on me this week. I thought he was trying too hard, but he actually is pretty funny, especially his random commentary while watching the challenges on the tv backstage. "OMG SHE GOT OVER THE DOLPHIN!!!"

I gave it another chance and surprise surprise I enjoyed it a lot more than I did last week. I think last week was just odd b/c I was expecting nothing but
Double Dare like stunts and was greeted by a reality show w/ eliminations but now that I know what the show's about..it was easier to get into.
Agree w/ the person that said that the editing for the Final Challenge was obvious..complete w/ Olga's confident confessional which is always a sign of failure on reality shows. That challenge in a way was unfair.. the extra lbs. on Darcy gave her a significant advantage w/ the wind and helped keep her grounded. How the heck did Meaghan avoid being even considered as one of the 2 up for elim. when she's the only one of the 5 that fucked up prefusely in that challenge? Crazy. |

This show is as fake as all the other reality shows. The "game show" that they're appearing on is not a real game show: those in the audience are
extras. The guy announcing that the commercial will be over in 3-2-1... is recitiing lines. All those people behing-the-scenes who are "producing"
the game show are extras.

The game show within the game show is clearly fake. 'I Survived a Japanese Gameshow' is about surviving a game show that doesn't exist. This show
is very meta.
