Purugly should be high on the list because at least people notice it, unlike many of the other forgettable D/P Pokemon.

100. Bidoof (Normal) As mentioned with Bibarel, when you start using beavers as your default Normal-type, you've really hit the bottom of the barrel. Bidoof is completely stupid looking and weak, and pretty much the only reason he's not dead last is because of the Bidoof internet fad that started on Gamefaqs.com, which used to be my port of call before coming to Sucks.
99. Finneon (Water) First off, only one group of Pokemon deserve to have -eon at the end of their names, and those are the Eeveelutions. Second, Finneon is just another fish Pokemon. I mean really, they don't NEED to put new Water Pokemon in every single game for the sole purpose of putting in new Pokemon. Hell, they didn't even put OLD Fire-types into the game, so why should Water be so special?
98. Shaymin (Grass) This is another instance of one of the overabundance of new legendary Pokemon just being completely fucking useless and stupid. I mean, this thing wasn't even half-Psychic, like Celebi. It's just some Grass Pokemon that we're supposed to believe is a legendary. And to top it off, it's not even a Pokemon you can get without cheating. What is the fucking point?!
97. Shieldon (Rock/Steel) I typically dislike fossil Pokemon and Shieldon is no exception. It's just basically a poor attempt to make a Steel-type look cute by designing it around a dinosaur. First off, tanks suck ass, and making a triceratops or whatever the hell it's based on into a Pokemon tank is not great. If I want a Pokemon, I want it to be strong and able to hit hard. Screw defenses. The best defense can be a good offense, but a good defense sucks offensively.
96. Skorupi (Poison/Bug) I don't like arachnids, so sue me. >_> I never cared about Skorupi. For one, it looks like the creators didn't even bother putting an effort into design and instead just left the design for Skorupi up to a cartoonist or something. It's hard to catch as a Safari Zone Pokemon, and it just doesn't turn out to be very much worth it.
95. Bonsly (Rock) I know that Brock has one of these and yet, I don't care. Baby Pokemon are completely unnecessary to the game. 100% unnecessary. Making a baby form of the already weak and pretty much useless Sudowoodo screams of filler. Also, it's a completely useless Pokeball in Brawl. Seriously, it comes out and you can basically only use it as a throw item that sucks, aerodynamically. Woohoo.
94. Cherubi (Grass) Wonderful, the first Pokemon from ALL FOUR LISTS that I forgot about when it came time to do the write-up. It's based on cherries and it's only available by using honey on specific trees, and even then, the process is annoying. I don't want to have to wait 12 hours for a random encounter that winds up being a fucking Cherubi. It's pathetic.
93. Phione (Water) Okay, this is just fucking ridiculous. Not only does the game put in a Pokemon like Manaphy as yet ANOTHER legendary, but then they come up with the brilliant idea of allowing Manaphy to mate and produce a baby known as Phione. Phione cannot mate, cannot evolve into Manaphy, and is pretty much the exact same Pokemon. It's completely stupid to think that this was what they came up with when thinking of new Pokemon. What the hell, Nintendo?
92. Budew (Grass/Poison) This is the earliest Grass-type you can catch in the game, and it's just a baby form of already weak Roselia. I've already expressed my distaste for baby forms, so this shouldn't be that surprising, but still, the fact that Nintendo continues putting baby forms in the game just to fill up space sickens me. RSE had 135 new Pokemon. DP has 107, and not counting legendaries, babies, and new evolutions, that number dwindles to 65.
91. Wormadam (Bug/Grass, Ground, or Steel) This is the evolution of Burmy that only comes to pass if the Brumy happens to be female. Wormadam basically takes the changes implemented by Burmy and evolves into a different typing depending on where it evolves. That'd be great if Wormadam was useful, which it pretty much isn't. |

Can't disagree with you here. Ugh @ the legendaries. The only ones that should have been in DP should have been Dialga, Palkia, Giratina (For Platinum
purposes), Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit.
Edit: Any MAYYYBE Arceus. |

Roselia is aight (fine, slightly weak) but Roserade kicks some major ass. I haven't raised a Budew to Roselia yet though, so I can't say how annoying it is to up the happiness level. But based on my Silver game when I evolved Eevee into Umbreon, the process should be relatively painless? Right, a D/P teambuilding question since I kinda abandoned Sapphire after beating Winona. My party currently consists of these members, albeit with them not at the full evolution stage: Torterra (can fight Steel, Electric, Rock, Fire, Poison, Water, Ground, and if I keep Crunch: Psychic, Ghost) Staraptor (can fight Fighting, Bug, Grass, and with Close Combat: Dark, Ice, Normal, Rock, Steel) Luxray (can fight Flying, Water, Ghost, Psychic) Golduck (can fight Ground, Rock, Fire, Poison, Fighting, and I plan to teach it Ice Beam, so Dragon, Flying, Grass as well) I will also get a Ponyta/Rapidash, which can fight Bug, Grass, Ice and Steel. I think I've got all the types covered already, but I need one more regular team member (no, not a HM slave, tyvm). Perhaps Heracross or Ambipom? Any other recommendations? |

^ That's basically my team that I plan on getting (I just restarted Pearl because my team sucked and I didn't feel like training my team 20 more levels
to beat the elite 4 [yeah I suck])
I think Gyarados is a better choice than Golduck but the flying factor sucks. Maybe for the final member a legendary? I don't know. Is Ambipom a fighting type? If it is I would go for it over Heracross because Bug pokemon are lame (except when it comes to beating those dark fuckers) |

the DP rankings aren't that fun to read. lol idk if it's because of the fact that I know none of these pokemon or if it's Kitty's attitude.

Ambipom's a Normal-type. I just checked, his natural moveset isn't very good but he's got amazing Attack and Speed. Right, Heracross it is then,
provided I can find one in the Honey trees. Or maybe that wanker Lucario. I'll see what else I can pick up along the way.
Gyarados > Golduck fer sure but I wanted to give Golduck a spin (with the fact that he learns Water moves besides frickin' Hydro Pump at level 40+ finally making him a more viable option than before) since I've used Gyarados on a previous team - I can hardly complain about Gyarados though. I don't really like using legendaries on a team since when you play strictly in-game, you can give quirkier Pokemon a chance, hehe. |
