95. Metang (Steel/Psychic)

I hate going through the middles of these lists, because there are just so many Pokemon that I don't give enough of a shit about to really want to bother making a halfway decent write-up. Metang is at least an improvement on Beldum in that is actually learns attacks, but there's really not a whole lot I can say about it. I have yet to beat Sapphire, which is where I'm doing the majority of my training, and in Ruby, I only levelled up Metang high enough to evolve it to Metagross. It's just an average Steel/Psychic type (which I admit is a great typing, but still.)


94. Armaldo (Rock/Bug)

While I do consider Armaldo and Anorith to be head and shoulders above Lileep and Cradily, they're the same as pretty much every other fossil pokemon to me. You have to be REALLY fucking special to show up about halfway through the game and make me go through some long, complicated process or raising you from a fossil in order for me to like you. Armaldo is just not my first choice if I'm ever going into battle, and thus, the low ranking.


93. Swalot (Poison)

Swalot is just a poor man's Muk, right down to the fact that he's basically comprised of toxic goo. Once again, there's nothing all that unique about Swalot, and that makes this write-up so difficult. Everything I have to say about it was covered in the Muk write-up, except Swalot, as far as I know, never had any epic victories in the anime like Muk did. Seriously, RSE made too many goddamn clone Pokemon that were just completely unnecessary.


92. Corphish (Water)

Yeah, it's a little lobster. I get that, and it's cute. But really, Corphish is just like so many other Pokemon from RSE in that it's essentially a complete clone of a previously existant Pokemon, in this case, Krabby. If you're gonna be a Water Pokemon, at least be UNIQUE and maybe give me something to work with. All I really can say about Corphish is that it's good for leveling up Grass Pokemon, assuming you can fish up some high level ones.


91. Makuhita (Fighting)

Even though it's not that great, I'll give Makuhita credit for being a unique Pokemon. I mean, it least it's SOMEWHAT difficult for them to make clone Fighting-types without being completely obvious about it. I guess I just dislike Makuhita because I don't really care for Fighting-types in general. I've always been more of a fan of Psychic-types myself. Makuhita's just a little slow and annoying when you're trying to fight it to gain EXP.
