Does anyone else think its weird that everyone whos gone home has a "feeling" they're going to be executed. I noticed that quote from all 4 people that are executed. Does production tell them they are leaving before execution starts.

I thought they focused on the creme brulee a bit too long as they did on Gustav Eiffel last week. Any french connections with the final 7?

Now I have suspicions as to why they took away the journals. Just to get a few quotes? I think they were copied in some way. That was the first thing that
flashed in my mind when Jon left with them.

The thing that I found extremely interesting tonight and I don't know why this has stuck out with me so much...but either right after the dinner
table challenge, or after he took their journals, right before the commerical break....there was a random "baby crying" noise. It was so random. Did
anyone catch this? The only thing that that pointed to, for me, was Nicole, being that she delivers babies for a living. She is an OBGYN.

I heard the baby crying noise and was confused at first but then assumed maybe they were trying to make fun of the players whining about the journals being
taken away.

I heard the baby crying noise too and I was like WTF?! The Nicole/OBGYN connection makes sense. It was just so random that I think it's probably a clue rather than an editorial comment on the players acting like babies. |

I need to check past episodes but I just came to the realization last night that, at the execution, Mark's name has been called right before the person
that's executed. I know it was like that in Episodes 1, 3 and 4 but I need to check Episode 2.

Another interesting point to consider, in season 1 where the mole was female nearly all of the females were cleared out early. This is most likely because the females will be more likely to target a male, especially at this point with only a few females left. Victoria most likely targetted one of the guys and went with Mark/Craig/Alex/Paul because they were on the other team that had all men while she was on the team with the two women. This leads me to believe Nicole could actually be the mole since females keep dropping and they are most likely voting for males as the mole. The other option would by Clay since he was on the women's team last night, Victortia most likely went after someone from the selfless team since she figured the odds were better. |

I disagree. The women spend more time with the women. There's more chance for them to suspect 'suspicious activity' from their own gender. The
men spend more time with the men. I am certain Mark is the mole, and the men are around him more than the women, giving them an advantage to see his
'erratic' behavior, or behavior that is unusual.
The women (in this series) seem to be suspicious of themselves. Nicole mentioned Victoria. Perhaps they need more time around the men to understand that it's one of them, not a woman. Nicole appears to be the most vulnerable in the game at present. Her face reaction after Bobbi's execution was of shock. She said in this episode that she thought the mole was Bobbi. She also said at the beginning of the test that hoped to finish fast, so that if she were wrong she would still beat someone. Lo and behold, someone beat Victoria by 5 seconds. Nicole is on the wrong track, and most likely to be executed next. Kristen, however, seems to be on to Mark. Watch her reaction to his 'over the top' sigh of relief after not being executed. She gives a 'yeah, whatever, buddy...I'm on to you' vibe. Mark never watches people's faces during executions. Watching people's faces is so important for non-moles, because you can detect phony 'whew, I'm still in the game' reactions. Everyone looks at other people's faces during executions, except Mark. He never does. He should, if he's not the mole. Ramblings, sorry.... |

My problem with Mark being the mole is that they've portrayed him caring so much about the game. He wrote obsessively in his journal (they've even
shown him doing it) and he completely lost it when his journal was burned. I mean, I know how editing works, and that things can be made to seem different than
they are. However, I don't believe anybody on this show could effectively act that upset without it seeming fake. Everybody in confessionals seemed to feel
his journal rage was genuine.
Maybe I'm just not observant enough. |

I don't know about Mark but I think that would actually be a very interesting approach. When so many legit contestants try to act Mole like and sabotage
the team to throw others off and everyone assumes that the real Mole is one of them..it would be kind of genius to take on the persona of the dedicated,
let's win as much money as possible contestant that wants to win for his family or some sob story reason.
The only problem is that at the same time..along w/ that gung ho persona has to come some actual Molish behavior and sabatoging and I haven't seen anything yet... Clay we know trusts him more than anyone and he's still there as well.. The ONLY thing I can come up w/ for Mark was the chain on the bike when he and Kristen tried to beat the others..but why would he want to not make it there fast? He'd want the excemption so the team didn't win the money. Also..w/ Clay we assume that Clay sat out and then Mark followed w/ the clothing task but for all we know Mark was in his ear beforehand convincing him not to do it..and then acted like he would sit out as well to support a friend. |

Why? Because early on, people tend to target the other gender. In fact, the final 3 is consistently the mole and then two people of the opposite gender. |

What's up with question 4 of the quiz;
Question 4: How many gold bars did The Mole's team carry to the finish in "Midas Rush"?Do they sometimes have questions where there is no correct answer, or is this just a typo on the site? Because they weren't given the opportunity to give the answer of 34 for the selfless team, so then the mole would have to be on the selfish team. Clay said something last night to the effect of "when he told me what the mission was" as if he got his own personal briefing on the mission. I
think I recall hearing a similar comment last week with someone speaking as if they got their own private briefing of the missin but I can't remember if it
was Clay. Anyways wouldn't it make more sense to say when he told us unless he's talking about a conversation that truly only
involved him and this "he" that told him what the next mission was. He also didn't say the host's name so the he being referred to can
easily be a production person.

I forgot how many the selfless team brought back but since it was 34 the 24 was probably just a typo. I didn't even notice it on the show.

I feel like Craig's reflections are somewhat like Kathryn's in season one which makes me wary of him, but I also feel like he's being set-up as the
winner. He's being portrayed as the friendly, funny guy(even though I don't think he's funny at all, he just tries to be). They probably want
everyone to fall in love with him because he's so nice and funny so that when he wins, everyone is pleased. I, personally, would much rather see the diva
win.

Isn't this awesome!!! Another week and of course MORE speculation of who could be The Mole. Muhahahahhah. This show is unique that you can never eliminate
someone as long as they are still on the show because there is no "boot order" based upon who may have been exucuted the week before. I also love
that the nature of this show prevents a flame fest in this forum because no person's speculation can really be considered stupid or better than anyone
elses. There is just no way to tell until it's all over. Gotta love it.
