Those clues keep pointing to terminated contestants. LIAr = Ali gone this episode. Grape? Bobby used the grape for his massage. So both Ali and Bobby were
removed from game.
666 = Mark of the devil. (as was previously pointed out). Mark. So these clues tend to point out who's booted. And a few clues here and there about who is the Mole (Mark, in my opinion).

You can't just say 666=Mark, therefore it's Mark. You are ignoring more than HALF of the clue with that.

Anyone wearing Shades in the episode? I know, I know....
Hell (666) is also hades. And so you can get, shades - liar. The person with the shades is the liar. I don't know. I'm bored at work. |

The "Mark of the Beast" is not "666". That's the "Number of the Beast". The actual "Mark of the Beast" is still
unknown. Markbeast.com has this:
Wiki has a few more: Seventh-day Adventists believe that the "mark of the beast" (but not the number 666) refers to a future, universal, legally enforced Sunday-worship. "Those who reject God's memorial of creatorship - the Bible Sabbath - choosing to worship and honor Sunday in the full knowledge that it is not God's appointed day of worship, will receive the 'mark of the beast.'"[26] "The Sunday Sabbath is purely a child of the Papacy. It is the mark of the beast."[27] Some fundamentalists believe that the mark of the beast refers to the Catholic practice of making the sign of the cross. [28] Futurist Christian eschatology typically holds that the Mark of the Beast is one way in which the Antichrist will exercise power over the Earth during the period of Tribulation, because of the prophetic statement in Revelation 13:16-17 that "the Beast" (θηριον) will require all people to receive the mark (χάραγμα "branded mark or character") in their right hands or foreheads in order to buy or sell, making survival for those on the run much more difficult. A possible translation of the meaning of the number 666 may be: the number 666 will be the number that all currency will be based upon. Exact interpretations of this vary widely. For example:Which isn't to say the Mole producers weren't going for "Mark of the Beast". |

One other clue might have been Bobby saying that he was too narrow in his selection, which to me eliminates Paul as the mole. I think he was leaning towards
Paul from comments he made during the show. Although, he might have changed his mind about who was the mole.

I thought the introduction of Roman Numerals to be a coincidence (?) since 666 may have simply come about when Romans wrote the their digits down from highest
to lowest: DCLXVI. (Perhaps M came later.)

Yes...I think the focus on Bobby's conversation with Mark would indicate that Bobby was focusing on Paul as the Mole...and he isn't, hence his
elimination. Was there any indication who Ali thought was the Mole? That might gear our suspicions elsewhere.

Sorry if this has already been figured out elsewhere, but considering on Jon Kelly's blogs on ABC.com that he says "he still doesn't know who the
Mole is" -- is there going to be a live finale? That'd be pretty sweet, I'd love to see it - that's if it'll ever air with the awful
ratings...

Bobby's execution leads me to believe Mark or Clay are the mole. Since Bobby was in a coalition with them and trusted them, he wouldn't answer questions to indicate either of them as the mole. Since they both didn't do the clothes mission, he wouldn't have chosen the "Did not participate or Did not enter restaurant" answer for any of those 3 questions. Since he was executed, this makes me think the correct answers to those questions were those referring to Clay or Mark. I think Clay did some great sabotage last night and still remains UTR enough to not be suspected by people on the show and viewers. |

Okay, I've been lurking forever, since the old days. Anyways, I'd seen someone posting stuff along the lines of these clues on another board, but
didn't really seem to add it all up. Anyhow, there's been random numbers in each episode.
Episode 1: Boat #810 Episode 2: Hotel Room #723 Episode 3: Locker #69 Just remember these for now. Now, going along with all of the religous imagery we've been seeing, turn to your Bibles. Or visit www.biblegateway.com if you're a horrible dirty sinner and don't have one. Two major characters in the Bible are named Paul and Mark. We're going to be dealing in the book of Mark, here. Taking the numbers into account... Mark 8:10 (from Boat #810) "He got into the boat with his twelve disciples and went to the region of Dalmanutha." (The contestants were getting onto a boat... and there's twelve...) Mark 7:23 (from Room #723) "All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'" (This one is vague. Maybe the mole is evil? Or pigs = unclean?) Mark 6:9 (from Locker #69) "Wear sandals but not an extra tunic." (During the clothing challenge, it was pointed out they get their shoes... but no shirts...) I'll let you guys do the math, but this line of clues has me a little bit captivated and thinking Mark is the mole. Which makes me mad because Mark just doesn't seem like the mole to me. Furthermore, I can't see ABC revealing the hidden clues by saying "Well, if you look in the Bible..." Just a thought.

Mark seems to be playing the coalitions too much to be the mole.
Craig really looks like the mole to me. |

Additionally, someone asked if Nicole was under a sign saying "MOLE"...
It actually says "MDLE", with a small O barely visible, perhaps saying Model. Interesting, but it would have been difficult to plan. |

Well, here's something else to consider: Players wondering who The Mole is or is not. We see a lot of "that was suspicious", "they could
be the Mole", "I trust <x>", etc. from a lot of people... except whom? I haven't seen Craig wondering this sort of stuff much at all.
Is he not playing the game, or is it edited out?

ALEX
Possible Sabotage: -Failed in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -Brought back the most useless junk in the Robinson Crusoe challenge of Episode 1. -Claimed to be on a soccer team, but still did poorly in the soccer game. -Did poorly when launching the pigs in Episode 2. -Left his journal laying about for others to read, which is somewhat suspicious. -Followed Nicole's (admittedly already messed up) fruit order in Episode 3. Possible Clues: -Robinson Crusoe is based on the life of Alexander Selkirk. -Last Supper Theory: At dinner in Episode 1, if seated as those in the painting "The Last Supper" are, Alex would be Judas. -His name is out of order on the first quiz, alphabetically. -Host says "That would be music the mole's ears," in Episode 1 and Alex is a musician, as pointed out in Episode 2. (Host also asks is they're getting a "beat" on who the mole is.) Also, the mention of Mozart. -"El Topo" is masculine, indicating the mole is more likely to be male. -Alexandre Eiffel is another famous Alex. CLAY Possible Sabotage: -Involved in sabotage in "Fruit of the Luge." -Didn't participate in the clothing challenge of Episode 3. Possible Clues: -"El Topo" is masculine, indicating the mole is more likely to be male. CRAIG Possible Sabotage: -Failed in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -Did very little in the Crusoe challenge in Episode 1, but brought back the Mole's sign. -May have been kicking sand to hide the tobacco box in Episode 1. -Repeated the fruit to Victoria in the wrong order (which she corrected) and was speaking after the finish line in Fruit of the Luge. -Is inconsistent in his spanish speaking abilities. -Managed to stumble upon the dry cleaning at the last moment, cutting the clothing challenge to the wire... perhaps meaning to slow things down. Possible Clues: -"El Topo" is masculine, indicating the mole is more likely to be male. -People have unscrambled the text clue "NIC@IT" to mean TITANIC. Craig has his arms outstretched in reference to the film. -The number Eleven is hinted at on a clue card, and Craig is 11th in the intro. -Alexander Selkirk (of Robinson Crusoe fame) was originally named Selcraig. -Entertainment Weekly supplied a clue- "I lie with my eyes." Craig wears glasses. KRISTEN Possible Sabotage: -Went for the exemption in Episode 2, costing the group money and seemed open to taking the taxi. -Enabled Bobby and Craig in the piggy challenge of Episode 2, managing to bring back zero pigs. Possible Clues: -Number 35 flashes during intro, which is Kristen's age. MARK Possible Sabotage: -Selected poorly as an Appraiser in the Crusoe challenge of Episode 1. -Went for the exemption in Episode 2, and wanted to get it done quickly. -Sat back and complained, hurrying group during the pigs in a blanket challenge. -Didn't participate in the clothing challenge of Episode 3, perhaps convincing Clay to follow suit (haha). Possible Clues: -A great deal of religious imagery is used in every episode, pointing perhaps toward the Bible. Mark is a book in the Bible. -Additionally, different numbers which are popping up in episodes may be referencing Bible verses which are strangely close to the events unfolding onscreen. (Mark 8:10, 7:23, 6:9) -Liscense Plate reads "BD-BY-65," which may refer to Mark's Birth Day or Birth Year- 1965. -"El Topo" is masculine, indicating the mole is more likely to be male. -Several references to "German" things- bunson burner, bicycle, and the German tourists at the waterfall. NICOLE Possible Sabotage: -Failed in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -Managed to whine almost on cue in Episode 1, perhaps in order to secure a leadership in the Crusoe challenge. -Through staying up the entire night, she most likely hindered the abilities of the other players, making them tired and less likely to do well. -Suggested two very athletic people to be the "Uphill Runners" in Episode 2. -Wasn't a very effective goalie in the Soccer Challenge of Episode 2. -Contantly fighting with Paul is a mole tactic to create discord in the group. -Most effective sabotage without breaking the rules in the fruit luge- by throwing in a second green apple, she messed the entire order up. -Did she really need an apron in the clothing challenge? Or was she just wasting time? Possible Clues: -Big grafiti sign in Episode 3 says "MDEL" (which looks like "Mole") points over at Nicole. PAUL Possible Sabotage: -Failed in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -Did poorly in the Crusoe challenge in Episode 1. -Broke open a pig for an exemption costing $1,000 (small amount). -Mixed up the order of two fruits in Episode 3. -Constantly fighting with EVERYONE is a mole tactic to create discord within the group. Possible Clues: -In Episode 1, the host shows Journal #11, which Paul has. -Only one wearing a green life preserver in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -"Gratia Plenta," which may point to Paul. -A great deal of religious imagery is used in every episode, pointing perhaps toward the Bible. -"El Topo" is masculine, indicating the mole is more likely to be male. -As Bobby pointed out, the host was eating an apple, and NYC is the big apple. -Alexandre Gustave Eiffel also designed the Statue of Liberty, which is in New York. VICTORIA Possible Sabotage: -Failed in the waterfall challenge in Episode 1. -Spoke after passing the finish line in "Fruit of the Luge," losing all money won. -Lead the group of all girls away from the direction of the laundry mat (toward the residential area) in Episode 3's clothing challenge. Possible Clues: -Only person with the mole finger-print on her helmet in the waterfall challenge of Episode 1. -The waterfall challenge in Episode 1 references Victoria Falls. (?) -During the soccer challenge in episode 2, the host tosses her the "Mole's" jersey. -Only person with a red towel at the sauna in Episode 3. -"Texas flag" is in the restaurant and Victoria is from Texas... (although its the Chillean flag...) **Based upon the clues, I think its Mark. Based upon the sabotages, I think it may be Nicole.**

Really good consolidation of the possible sabotage and actions of each person, ComeWhatMay. I'm pretty sure you can forget the "El Topo" clue,
however, because animals are always masculine in Spanish and don't change gender (i.e,, el perro, el gato whether you have a boy doggy/kitty or a girl).

Another sabotage for Clay was talking during the Fruit challenge. And don't forget the Plena Gratia clue in episode 1 pointing to Paul. Nicole also
suggested Mark and Kristen as the "Uphill" people without knowing the task and it ended up being to prevent money from the pot.
I also feel like the Eiffel thing is a bigger clue just because it wasn't necessary to say that, but they focused on it. |

Bravo, ComeWhatMay! What a brilliant post. Mark really does look like he has so many clues for him, but I'm sticking with Paul as my pick, backed by
Victoria, Alex, and Clay. Mark just doesn't seem like the Mole to me, but I love what you've done - very interesting read.

I don't quite understand the Gratia Plenta clue and I can't recall who suggested the horribly long "shortcut" in Episode 2. Was it Bobby?
