The mates are really who ultimately made Clay the target he is IMO. their over zealous and often times insane defense of him early in her career made the tabloids seek out information on him just because they knew it would garner a response...which is what their business thrives on. I've said before that Clay's sexuality shouldn't be an issue and IMO it's the mates who continue to make it into a bigger deal than it really needs to be. How many times has perez said that kelly is gay? plenty... it's funny cuz even the Claymate repeat that rumor and see nothing wrong with it. it's kind of the good for the goose good for the gander thing... Clay could handle this situation with some grace and diginity and make a public statement and end this feeding frenzy. It is funny that on the clayboard there is NO talk at all of the video or the baby story...it's strictly forbidden to discuss it.... how can anyone operate in such a veil of intimidation and secrecy? they are going to implode at some point.
