According to Zap2it, the overnights for Wipeout in the 8 pm hour were better
than Big Brother in the 9 pm hour, although both hours (and the night overall) was solidly won by Fox's
MLB All-Star Game.
Major league baseball's All-Star Game scored an 8.0/14 for FOX at 8 p.m. "NCIS," 5.3/9, finished second in households for CBS but trailed both ABC's "Wipeout," and NBC's "Celebrity Family Feud," both of which averaged 5.0/9, in total viewers. The CW went with a "Beauty and the Geek" rerun. |

It's not a victory for feminism if a woman wins, it's just something girls want to see happen, don't take away their dream. :)
Also ITA this show is for entertainment purposes only and I don't necessarily care who wins. But that said IMHO a woman will win, it might take 200 episodes but it will happen. Why I think so is, various women so far have gotten really close to the men. They just faced that one man who could beat them. In these cases the men were young and athletic so there wasn't any chance. But, take a strong woman among certain guys and it'll happen, the woman just needs to be the flat out best. Never get knocked off the spinner and don't do any backflips of any trampolines and you're golden. This week, a woman could have definitely won over these guys. OK the 43 year old guy was pretty buff but his time wasn't really that great, a 23 yr old athletic woman who ran a near perfect race could have won with say a time around the 8 min mark. Saye could have won if she wasn't weak in mind. She couldn't focus at all and had a mental breakdown by the end. A couple of other shows had all the men turn in some slow times. The stars need to converge and the planets align but I think a female can and will win this... unless ABC doesn't keep this show around for long. Nobody who's fat will ever win this keep dreaming, unless they put a bunch of strength challenges in. Fat does not always = weak |

I really like this show but it's wearing thin after 3 weeks. They need to change the course. I'm sick of the bouncing balls. I never tire of the
punching wall though. That one can stay! There's only so many times the bouncing balls are going to be funny.

I still really like Wipeout and appreciate the fact that they try to keep things fresh by changing the course each week. They need to get rid of those 3
rolling pins though and bring back the donut run. I still love big balls..never gets old.
That wall at the end of the course w/ tha tiny ledge was impossible. I don't think anyone could do that. Count me in as someone that wants a girl to win. Once one does, I don't think I will care but with men dominating and women being the natural underdogs in the athletic competition, I can't help but want to see one prevail and if it's a week w/ fit, young men as well and not a ringer week w/ older men and fatties? All the better. |

Agreed, big balls never get old. I thought they would, but they don't.
I really like how they have the constants: Big Balls, Punching Wall & The Sweeper and then change up the things in between and tweak the Sweeper each week. My fave "tweak" on the sweeper was the potato sacks. That was freaking hilarious!! |
