But it's hard to imagine an Irish girl and an Australian guy in the finals, when typically the South has played such a strong role in determining the winner in the past. And it's rare for both of the pimped favorites to make it to the end. I'm thinking David Cook or Kady Malloy could sneak in. Maybe even David Archuleta. Too early to say right now.

I do have my doubts about people really accepting the foreigners as potentially American Idols. I'm going to make up a much better prediction list and keep it for myself after I see some performances in the Top 24 and see the public reaction. It's always too hard to judge by only reading internet postings. There's a much higher percentage of fangirlness and cynicism.

He doesn't have a distinct style, and thus I don't think he'd be a good success if he won. His sob story will probably get him into the top 12, but I doubt he'd make it much farther. I agree on the Michael/Carly F2, though for personal preference i'd want a Ramiele/Danny or Ramiele/Carly.

Joanne Borgella First cuts (pre-top 12) are just based on how much the general public knows about each contestants. Asia'h goes out first in my list because I just fucking hate that girl :) Basically if you're a girl and your name starts with an "A" you're basically screwed and of course a few deserving people always get cut right before top 12 (Robbie barf and Amanda) Top 12 the lack of air time will screw those who managed to make it through the first three rounds of cuts. Chikeze has no chance Kady Malloy's great but she looks like she got hit by a bat... her ginormous breasticles might save her though. I can't imagine David Cook lasting long. America will get sick of Syesha Mercado's singing/screaming. Luke Menard, despite not being shown EVER, will probably have some staying power only because he looks like a hot piece of ass from what we've been shown: Luke Menard>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ace Young Carly Smithson isn't that likeable but she'll get votes purely because Judges will love her and she's a good singer. Surprise boot, and Seacruussstt will blame it on us again. Top 5 just plays out well... After a lot of attention in the media, and after being made fun of by Joe McHale and Best Week Ever countless of times Danny Divagina Noriega will finally depart. Asia votes thrown to this half-Japananese flame bomb will go to Ramielle and the I-vote-for-the-tweens votes will go to David. David loses, Ramielle meekly celebrates Jasmalien comes and attacks Ramielle for even THINKING of beating her record run. No asians allowed to the Final 2, Jasmalien wins and Ramielle whimpers. I am guessing Kristy Lee Cook and Amy Davis both to be booted in the first couple weeks. Good chance Alana Whitiker gets booted as well. He has absolutely no chance at all. I don't know what the judges were smoking even putting him in the top 24. He was karaoke and not good karaoke. He doesn't sing well, and he isn't different enough or cute enough to get the sanjaya votes. I predict he will be a huge disappointment but not enough to merit VFTW to save him. He'll be gone in no time.
