I was coming back from business in Dallas. Didn't notice that the ticket agent put the wrong tag on my luggage so it went to Los Angeles instead of home to Ohio with me. I still don't have the bag and have no idea when I'll be getting it.
This is your fault. The cardinal rule of checking bags is to stand there and WATCH the person tag your bag so you know it gets tagged correctly. The people who tag bags are usually HS dropouts earning minimum wage, so you can't expect too much.
BTW...even if you watch them tag your bag correctly, they will probably still lose your bag, but at least it won't be your fault.
