I keep a beard very very similar to the pic RoMa posted, same length and hair density about. I work in a creative-type field and it makes me feel a little
artsy. Mostly though I hate shaving every day. I just trim the beard a couple times a week, plus daily shaving of the neck, of course. I shave just at the edge
of my jaw and under.
Beards are hot, and all men who can't grow them are inferior. And no one will ever convince me otherwise!!

I've got a goatee which coupled with my smooth bald head makes for a stunning presentation and makes my transitions from angry beatdown man to
intimidating-you-with-my-silent-glares to casual disdain all the more wondrous to behold. I look more friendly without the goatee and these days I'm beyond
contempt by 7:30 am.

I keep a beard in the winter, and goatee in the summer because I usually have a 5:00 shadow by noon.

Where did this "beard solidarity" shit come from in the first place? I never head of it until the writer's strike and found it to be ridiculous.
Am I to understand that like-minded men in support of something are always to grow beards now?

I've noticed a lot of the white guys in my office have started doing the beard thing (figured they were taking their cues from celeb douche like Justin Timberlake or somebody). I don't really approve of it, but then again, I don't approve of their existence in the first place. :-) |
